One of the biggest draws of Smorgasburg (Los Angeles) is its variety. Reviews consistently mention a broad selection of cuisines and sweets, making it a practical stop for groups with different cravings. Instead of committing to one restaurant, you can wander between stands and try a few things that catch your eye. Customers have called out items like churros, vegan burgers or sliders, vegan corn dogs, Spam musubi, and garlic noodles, which gives a sense of the mix you may find from week to week. That changing vendor lineup is part of the appeal, especially for people who enjoy discovering new flavors and supporting small food businesses.

The atmosphere at this market in Los Angeles feels casual, social, and browse-friendly. It is a place where people come to eat, walk around, and spend part of a Sunday afternoon outdoors. Reviewers also note that it is pet friendly, which can make it even more appealing for weekend outings. At the same time, it helps to arrive with realistic expectations: some vendors can have long lines, seating may be limited, and popular stalls may require a short wait after ordering. For many visitors, that tradeoff is worth it for the chance to explore several vendors in one trip and enjoy the buzz of a busy food market.

Practical details also make a difference here. Several customers mention that parking is relatively convenient, with the garage entrance on Alameda Street and Center Street and up to two hours of free parking, which is especially helpful in Los Angeles, CA. That gives visitors enough time to park, look around, choose food, and eat without feeling rushed. Reviews do mention a few pain points, including restroom cleanliness and the lack of handwashing stations, so planning ahead can make the visit smoother.

For locals, tourists, couples, and friend groups trying to decide where to eat on a Sunday, Smorgasburg (Los Angeles) offers a flexible way to experience the city’s food scene in one stop. It is well suited for people who enjoy variety, don’t mind a lively crowd, and want to sample dishes from different vendors rather than sit down for a single meal. Overall, my experience was okay. Parking was convenient with plenty of spaces, and you get two hours free, which was nice. Some of the food vendors had long lines, and after ordering, the wait time was about 10–20 minutes. The food we did get was good for the price, but there definitely could be more tables available for sitting and eating.

Love that this exists in LA. I thought there would be more options but still a good selection. Glad it changes out. A lot of the food was overpriced and just mid options. I tried a lot of different stations. Surprisingly, what I enjoyed the most was a vegan burger / slider from Champignon eats, mushroom dumplings from I think dumpling dream (forgot the name from where) and the whipped banana pudding flight!

The selection of food was nice a variety of different cuisines and desserts, the seating was a bit hard to get since they were limited. Pet friendly I saw several people with their pets and alot of small business ventures, my only issues were no handwashing stations and the restrooms were dirty and smelled.

Parking?! Good question! There are signs indicating where the parking garage is at. Entrance is on Alameda St and Center St., South of 7th D., North of Bay St. 2 hrs. free parking, plenty of time to look, choose, and eat. There are many eateries to choose from. Everything looks and smells good! Wife and I had to get our fixings at Whole and Oat Coffee, two Spanish Latte's... Oof! Enjoy! Thank you and God bless!

Super delicious churros and the vegan corn dog from stick talk was pretty good! The spicy one tasted like chorizo but the outside breading was delicious. Spam musubi is my favorite but their garlic noodles were unimpressive in my opinion. It wasn't garlicy just very savory.
