Joa cut my hair and did an amazing job. She had an eye for attention to detail and ensured i was getting what I wanted. She looked at my reference pictures and asked if I was sure about the length, that I understood it was a short hair cut. I could tell during the hair cut that she was very meticulous about making sure everything was even and balanced. She also explained exactly how to dry my hair to achieve the style I wanted. Joa was great about letting me know what would suit my features and that shorter bangs would not be as nice. She did a great job and I’ll be back to see her. There was a slight language barrier, but she had a translating app on her phone which got around that easily.

My hair turned out orange. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Joa Baek. The only request I had was brown with minimum red. I was told that since I have an asian hair it will be little red still unless I bleach it. I didn't want to bleach my hair so told Ms.Baek It doesn't need to be bright as the reference photo but I want minimum red as possible. During the process, She told me that my hair wouldn't turn out pretty because I took an iron supplement few months ago as well as after shampooing I was told that I have some patchy spot but it is totally normal and not noticeable . She said, sometimes the picky customer's complain. All together this procedure was over 200 dollars and I came home with orange hair with blach patchy line that looks nothing like my reference photo unfortunately.

The photo on the left is what I asked for instead this is what I get on the right. Ruined my hair 1 week before graduation. I’m so embarrassed to take my photos for graduation. This is not what I asked for. Instead Jay Jim ignored what I wanted and my said sister “wanted the same thing” no it was not the same thing. I did not come to this service to get weird answers. I just wanted a simple long layer cut and I leave crying. Please be more considerate of your clients. (UPDATE): They just BS you and apologize but NO I have not received any kind of refund for the awful service, the fact that I even tipped this guy was so dumb of me. Save your money and go somewhere else!!
