I come here for their OXTAIL SOUP! The best one I've tried so far. They are not stingy with oxtail meat, the meat is tender, soft, melts in your mouth 👄 💦 it is sooooo good. The broth is flavorful 👌 All of the dishes and soups are tasty and flavorful. Don't even get me started on their drinks!! My favorite one is the Honey Foam Jasmine Tea 👌

We heard a lot of hype about Soup Shop so we had to check it out on a recent couples’ date night sans kids. FYI - this restaurant can be found in a busy plaza anchored by a Whole Foods and located at the corner of Irvine Center Drive and Research Drive, so parking may be scarce during peak hours. Servers were friendly in greeting us and efficient as they were able to seat us quickly without a reservation. The meal started off on a good note with the Sautéed Scallion Corn and Golden Popcorn Chicken appetizers. There was even a hint of spice in the corn app which I appreciated. Between the four of us, we put both dishes away. I had a challenging time deciding on my entree, but I finally settled on the combination pho and added a side of rib bone. It’s been a minute since I had pho, so I really wanted to love it but IMO it was good not great. The meat was not fall off the bone tender and the noodles and broth were not memorable. I’ve had better pho in a few other restaurants nearby but outside of Irvine. Still, it’s always nice to get out and enjoy a nice meal with friends. Soup Shop has done well so far, so I hope they continue their success story in the thriving Irvine food scene.

First time here with expectation of “give it a try”. Surprisingly food is delicious, portion is good enough. We ordered rib bone pho & rib eye pho. Plenty of meats. We like rib bone pho more. The place was nice with high ceiling and spacious among tables. Service was great as well. Definitely we’ll come back again.

First time eating at Soup Shop. I had the Pho Thai which they call ribeye pho. It’s absolutely delicious 😋. The broth is rich and flavorful and the meat is tender. All the servers are very attentive. I love this place and will definitely come back!

Rib bone pho. Loved meat quality and quantity. Broth just amazing. I’m carnivore but couldn’t give up on noodles also, was worth it as well. Best pho I’ve ever had in my entire life. I wish I could give 10 stars, because even service was amazing. I’m not local but will comeback tomorrow just for the same dish.
