This Shop is run by a Air Force veteran and his family who care deeply about the services they provide and customers experience. If I had to drop my SAAB off for a day or more they would provide a loaner vehicle for the days that they had my car. First class service that you would never expect or see anywhere else. I found that the team was knowledgeable, straightforward and transparent. I brought my SAAB to this location many times 2018-2023. I only stopped going to this location due to distance from where I live currently. This shop and owner are amazing to say the least. 10/10. I will always remember the kindness and excellent automotive services provided.

I am going to start and hope I don't have to give a star cause not deserving. I took my 2018 smart car here because I at the time couldn't find anyone to work on it near my home. It would not accept a charge so I called and talked to Justin and he said bring it in and they would look at it. I informed him at that time I had a 3rd party warranty on the vehicle and he said they would deal with it. He called and informed me that he had to run a diagnostic on it and said warranty company would not cover the charges only parts and labor lie number one . Went on to tell me it would be an ungodly amount per hrs. And would be around 750.00 I said OK not realizing he has not actually talked to them. Didn't hear back from him so finally after a week I called concerned I was going to pay more for the diagnosis he informed me he would do it for 750 but he wasn't able to figure it out and felt it personally needed to know. I said ok didn't hear back for probably another week to him telling me I needed hv charge cable and hv batteries he wasn't able to do it but referred me to someone else to the tune $20,000 or higher. Said I would come get the vehicle what was owed he stated $930.00 was not happy but wasn't leaving the vehicle either. So went got the vehicle ended up taking it to a guy close to home good guy he told me that my high voltage charge port was cut and missing a fuse and warranty company voided my warranty and could not be fixed had to buy another cable$1200.00 so I call Justin a real winner he admitted to cutting the cable without consent and said it was necessary for the diagnostic $930 ago and said he didn't feel any obligations to make it right was totally comfortable with what he had done and said he was stepping away and not going to have any more conversation about it i could talk to the manager which would be better thought referred me to Janet or something I ask her if she could find a cable good or bad just wanted warranty company to cover it she said I quote "at the end of the day we are not replacing the cable" in was appalled being in a family that owns a business i cant imagine being around long. So you just might want to watch yourself doing business with them because you can definitely come out worse than you go in. So I don't have any stars by this business

$1,500 estimate to replace a non-existent part … Gave an estimate of around $1,500 to replace a non-existent part. Didn't fix the problem at all. Unnecessary diagnosis fees. … A) Provided the shop with a clear description of the vehicle's issue (air coming into the fuel line on top of the fuel filter) in person and in writing. B) Was charged about $300 for a diagnosis fee for an unsolicited, unnecessary, and completely erroneous diagnosis. C) Given an estimate of about $1,500 to replace a non-existent part (fuel pump in the tank). Doubled down in the shop about the misdiagnosis. They backed down only when they couldn't show me where the part was in the vehicle. The Service Manual shows the fuel pump is on the engine block, and not in the tank. D) Issue (air leak into fuel line) remained after four visits to Southwest Auto. "Will go away" was their take. E) Contacted the shop via email and phone (including one of the owners) six times. The service manager "is no longer with the shop." Didn't offer to fix the original issue, but to bring the vehicle back to repeat the high-fee diagnosis and estimate process. … Dealership's estimate to replace the fuel filter is LESS than SWA's diagnosis charges. Mercedes-Benz: "For the replacement of the fuel filter, the cost would be $290.14. This total is including labor, parts, taxes and fees." … The staff at SWA is friendly, but they constantly mention possible catastrophic issues (bad injectors, bad high-pressure fuel pump, etc.) to prepare customers for more 'reasonable' but still high charges.

This place is a gem! I own a 2026 Tesla Model Y, and my Full Self-Driving (FSD) system hit a pothole, causing damage to my wheel, tire, and suspension. I took it to Tesla, and without much explanation, they handed me a $3,000 repair estimate and recommended replacing everything. After doing some careful research, I found Southwest Auto and decided to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did. They took the time to diagnose the exact part that actually needed to be replaced, repaired my wheel instead of replacing it, and ultimately saved me about $2,000. On top of that, they provided me with a loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired and even followed up afterward to make sure everything was working properly and that I was happy with the repairs. The level of honesty, care, and customer service I received was exceptional. This was easily a five-star experience, and I’ll absolutely be recommending Southwest Auto to anyone looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable service—especially if you own a Tesla.

I was traveling in my Winnebago View (On a Sprinter chassis) and a check engine light came on. I was on a schedule and Southwest Auto welcomed me in, diagnosed the problem right away (cracked resonator), and fixed it after waiting parts for a day. I was very satisfied with the work, the quality of the diagnostic process, and the communication with me during the repair. Thank you for getting me back on the road! I haven’t had another problem since.
