I stopped by Southwest Farmers Market to pick up a few items and had a good experience. The store was clean, and there was a nice selection of products to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices seemed reasonable. Overall, it was an easy shopping trip, and I'd come back again.
The man working behind the meat counter was unsanitary. He helped us select our meat and then proceeded to assist us at checkout without changing his gloves. To my surprise, he handled all our checkout items with the same gloves. I was extremely grossed out and concerned about the lack of proper hygiene. As a store, you should take greater precautions to ensure proper food-safety practices and protect your customers. I hope this issue is addressed with your staff so that it does not happen again.
Cleaner and the other locations I have been to, the staff were very kind and respectful, again in comparison to the other locations I have been to. I hope that they maintained the status quo as I can start to see the wear and tear in the store – very disorganized, waiting for a little bit before being attended to at the meat station and sometimes at the checkout counter. But so far, this is the only African store I have been going to for about a year now.
Their puff puff is very good. Personally, that’s one thing I genuinely enjoyed. Generally, you might find your regular African groceries available. Overall 4 star.
Very clean store with awesome friendly staff. Couldn’t help myself and got several dishes to try and they were all great! The plantains and the green chili meat dish with an egg on top were my favorite!
