Spa Castle Texas

I spent the day at Spa Castle and had such a relaxing experience. My favorite parts were the outdoor pool, the different sauna rooms, and the red light therapy room. Everything was clean, and it was easy to spend hours just unwinding. All the staff were very friendly 😊 I also had lunch there, and the Korean food was very good. It was exactly the reset I needed after a busy week. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited on the very first day of the soft opening(Friday June 26th), and we had an incredible experience! Spa Castle has always been one of our favorite spas, and this reopening did not disappoint. We spent about 9 hours here and left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. We enjoyed the saunas, pools, had a meal, and even treated ourselves to a massage. The atmosphere was so peaceful that we honestly felt like VIPs. We had every sauna to ourselves and never felt rushed or crowded, which made the experience feel incredibly exclusive. The facility is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. If this is the kind of experience guests can expect, then I absolutely believe the admission price is worth it. We can’t wait to come back and hope to enjoy another relaxing day here!

I came in and was greeted by friendly faces. Someone briefly showed me the locker room and where the Lavender spa is etc but missed some key details that I had to figure out on my own. For example your shoes go in the small locker you’re assigned while your other things go in a larger locker, where to get your robe etc. The smallest shoes they have were far too big and a tripping hazard. The massage was really lovely. Sarah was a great therapist. I did think it was weird that there is a large window into the Massage room. So there is zero privacy when you are changing and getting onto the bed. There’s a little ramp leaving lavender spa that’s dangerous in my opinion. I was still acclimating to the light when I came out of the massage and didn’t see the ledge and nearly ate concrete. The sushi was fresh and made to order but you can’t get a glass of water which was odd. They directed me to a station with cone shaped cups so you have to hold it while you eat it. A little off putting since I’m paying almost $250 to this facility to be there a few hours. The whirlpools were nice. I spent maybe an hour hanging out there. Checkout was easy, but there was a giant crater in the drive exiting the facility. It actually seemed like the international space station crashed into the concrete there. Not sure why they didn’t fix that during the renovation.

Finally Spa Castle has re opened! Wr have been patrons for several years. No more uniforms as people have mentioned, you receive a robe, towel, and shoes. The renovations are very clean girl esthetic. 1. I miss the previous food menu for Asya. It's very limited with 3 appetizers and 6 main food items. 2. There should be an age restriction for children. This is suppose to be a relaxing environment and having young children (3-7 year old talking loud and running around is not appropriate). Leave your children and infants at home, and enjoy the facilities solo. 3. The outdoor amenities have upgraded. 3.5 the indoor pool by the TV with the nice seating is cold 81F (so it was minimally used 😐). Please correct 4. The body scrub services aren't available yet. 4.5 Side note: entrance fees are more expensive for 2 adults $195 (on weekend) and you pay an additional $35 for robe, towel, and shoes. This was note made clear until you purchase something and see the running charge. You are told at check in to go by the desk to get your items. 5. Overall, everything is more expensive but will still continue to be a patron.

I was excited to try Spa Castle because I’d heard good things, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the price. The facility itself is nice, but the overall experience felt very overpriced. Admission was around $90 per person, and I was surprised to find out that robes and slippers cost extra. At a spa charging that much, I would expect those basic amenities to be included. Even more disappointing, the front desk staff never informed us that there was a military discount available. We had our military IDs with us, but only found out about the discount later. When we asked if it could be applied afterward, they refused. Customer service was another letdown. The staff wasn’t particularly welcoming, and several interactions came across as rude rather than helpful. Instead of feeling pampered and relaxed, it felt like we were being rushed and corrected over small things, which isn’t what you expect from a premium spa. Overall, the facility is decent, but the service and value don’t justify the price. For around $100 per person, there are many other spas that offer a much more luxurious experience, include basic amenities, provide excellent customer service, and leave you feeling truly relaxed. Sadly, this wasn’t the experience we were hoping for, and it’s not a place we’ll be returning to or recommending.
