Specialty Comfort Care, Inc. is an adult foster care service in Beaverton, Oregon, at 6700 SW 105th Ave, Beaverton, OR 97008. The business focuses on care and comfort, with customer feedback describing professional, kind support in the comfort of a client’s own home. For families looking into adult care options in Beaverton and the surrounding Portland area, the available reviews point to a personal approach: one reviewer says the owner works hard to match each client with a caregiver. That can be a useful consideration when seeking care that feels attentive to an individual’s needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all arrangement.
The business has posted weekday hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. One customer review says Specialty Comfort Care can cover the Portland area 24/7 as needed; families should contact the business directly to confirm current availability, coverage, and whether a particular care arrangement is suitable. The review also describes the owner as having more than 30 years of experience in health care. These details come from customer feedback, so prospective clients may wish to discuss specific experience, services, scheduling, and care needs with the provider before making plans.
Reviews describe the care as kind, professional, and comfortable, with one customer saying that Emilia makes sure needs are met. Other brief comments call the business “very special and comfortable” and “great.” Feedback is not uniform: one reviewer reports frustration with a scheduled introductory meeting that began significantly later than expected and says there was no advance call. This mixed feedback gives families a practical reason to ask about communication, appointment expectations, caregiver matching, and how the provider handles changes or delays. The listed rating is 4.3 out of 5, based on 6 reviews, a small sample that may not represent every client’s experience.
Specialty Comfort Care may be worth contacting for people exploring adult foster care or related care support in Beaverton, particularly when comfort at home and a personal caregiver match are priorities. A first conversation can help clarify the type of support available, service area, scheduling, and how an individual’s preferences and needs are considered. The business is located on SW 105th Ave, and its listed office hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Because care needs and availability can vary, confirm details directly before relying on any schedule or coverage mentioned in a review. This helps families make an informed decision about whether the service fits their situation.

Specialty Comfort Care is a small business with a big heart. They cover the entire Portland area 24/7 as needed. The owner has worked in the health care field over 30 yrs and works hard to match client and care giver. They have always gotten good ratings from the State and had many satisfied, happy clients over the years.
Such a frustrating and incompentent company. First off, Emilia scheduled a time to meet us for the first time and didn't show up until almost 30+ minutes late and didn't even bother calling!!! She got lucky that I decided to stay and visit with my mom instead of leaving after 10min of being a no-show. They claim to be skilled at working with people with Dementia but I didn't see one caregiver (Lupe or Estephania) who had the experience and/or knowledge how to specially deal with my mother who has Dementia. There is a different approach needed; you have to encourage and suggest, not ask or demand. It also didn't help that every caregiver was Hispanic with a very thick, hard to understand accent. I'm not racist, I'm stating the fact that an elderly woman (my mother) who only speaks English, struggles to understand a thick accent in her old age and somewhat hard of hearing. It made communicating not only difficult for her but me as well when the caregiver would call to complain and I literally couldn't understand the words she'd say. Not to mention her text messages were in broken English so I had to guess what word she was trying to type. I was literally getting complaining texts daily from the caregiver, plus her boss would text weekly and complain to me about how hard it was for the caregiver. THEN the nurse came in to do her evaluation follow-up post 28 days of starting and changed stuff up like splitting up my mothers pills to take at 2 different times a day instead of all at once. Keep in mind it wasn't for any medical purposes, just her personal preference. My mother was already having issues with wanting to take meds at all, and she made it more difficult for my mother and of course her caregiver. Eventually I overrode her decision and told the caregiver to just do it all at once like we previously had it. I would never recommend this company.
