Sign in to reviewWow! The butter chicken was genuinely life changing. The tandoori chicken and bullet naan was incredible as well! I was so impressed, truly haven’t had Indian food like this since being back in India!
I went here two different times and had: - Samosas - Momos - Malai chicken tikka kebab - Butter curry with goat - Garlic naan All of the food was delicious. Seriously. So flavorful and well cooked. You can taste that the food is made with passion and sincerity. Everyone who works there seems to be very invested in what they're doing. At the moment, the menu items and prices are not up to date because they are still determining what works best. But every person who helped me took the time to explain what was going on and offer guidance on what to order because the things I wanted weren't available. It can be really tiresome to explain the same things in sufficient detail over and over, but I heard them do it for each customer who came in. The store front is also very clean and well organized.
Absolutely loved Spice & Slice Bazaar. The food tastes truly authentic, and you can tell the spices are fresh and used the right way. I cook myself and understand South Asian/Nepali flavors well, so I can honestly say the quality here stands out. One thing I really appreciated is that they have their own butcher shop attached to the grocery store, so the meat feels fresh, not like old frozen or reheated food you get at many places. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The momos were excellent, and the whole place has a very genuine neighborhood vibe. Great combination of restaurant and grocery store. Definitely coming back again.
The service is great! Everyone is friendly! They sell lot of groceries and unique spices. You can even purchase meals at the back of the store. I got Butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani and garlic naan today. The food is fresh and tasty. It’s a little too salty for my taste but all the spices they use are so amazingly! I highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely come back again.
Service and atmosphere was well below standard. I had to go get my own food and find serving plates and silverware. Chef is amazing and food is definitely worth the trip back.
