STARDUST Coffee House | Fremont is a welcoming coffee shop in Fremont, CA, located at 3768 Capitol Ave Unit a in the downtown Capitol Avenue area. For locals searching for a comfortable cafe with creative drinks, indoor seating, and a casual place to linger, Stardust brings together specialty coffee, matcha, lattes, and light bites in a space that feels easy to settle into. The shop has a 4-star rating from 61 reviews, giving new guests a helpful snapshot of a spot that many customers already use for their everyday coffee runs, study sessions, and weekend meetups.
The menu stands out for drinks that go beyond a basic espresso order without losing the comfort of a neighborhood cafe. Customer favorites include Mango Passionfruit matcha, Purple Moon with ube, taro, and coffee, Nutty by Nature with black sesame and coffee, and a Strawberry Collagen Latte made with strawberry puree, coffee, and collagen foam. Guests also mention the honeydew latte, Dew you love me, for its melon-milk flavor paired with espresso. These drinks make the cafe especially appealing for people who like Asian-inspired flavors, colorful lattes, and coffee drinks that are both playful and balanced.
STARDUST also reflects its history as the former Fremont Food Hall, now rebranded into one shared coffee house experience. Reviewers note that the previous food vendors have been brought together under the Stardust look while familiar vendor names, including Smochi, remain part of the experience. That means guests can stop in not only for coffee or matcha, but also for a bite to eat, making it practical for a midday break, a morning drink stop, or a casual hangout when everyone in the group wants something a little different.
The atmosphere is one of the biggest reasons people return. Reviews describe good music, a solid amount of indoor seating, and fast Wi-Fi, which makes STARDUST Coffee House | Fremont a useful choice for students, remote workers, readers, and anyone who wants to spend time with a drink rather than rush out the door. Some guests note that the space can feel a little cold inside, so bringing a layer may be wise if you plan to work or study for a while. Still, the overall mood is relaxed, social, and convenient.
Open daily from 8:00 AM, with evening hours until 7:00 PM most days and until 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, this Fremont coffee shop fits both weekday routines and weekend cravings. It is a good match for matcha fans, latte explorers, coffee drinkers who enjoy ube, taro, sesame, strawberry, or honeydew flavors, and groups looking for indoor seating in Fremont, California. If you are near Capitol Avenue and want a creative drink, a place to sit, and a cafe with a local, community feel, STARDUST is worth considering.

Sign in to reviewIt was kinda cold inside but the drinks are really good. If you’re thinking about working or studying here the wifi is really fast.
The pictures dont do it justice, this can be one of my too favorite places for a good matcha. Its really hard to choose a favorite but Mango Passionfruit matcha will be up there. They have good music playing, enough chairs to seat, study/read and enjoy your drinks and a bite to eat. Love coming here!
Basically, Fremont Food Hall was rebranded to STARDUST Coffee House. It’s better that way because it makes every food vendor really fall into that restaurant since all their blinds share the same logo. However, they didn’t abandoned the vendor names like Smochi. Two other vendors share the same menu. Also, the menus are different now.It seems that most drinks that I used to order there are replaced with new ones that I’ve never. They slightly changed the interior. I like how they got rid of those large kiosks that are sitting at the left and renovated that section with furniture that seems to be looking like a waiting room. Everything else is mostly the same though. Not really many people here though as usual especially now that it’s Thanksgiving Day. I got Rice Dog and Purple Moon. The rice dog tastes the same as before but it’s only slightly different because I asked for powdered sugar sprinkled on top. The purple moon tastes similarly to the ones that I had before the place gets rebranded. I also thought that they serve rice plates too, but I don’t think I see them from the menu? I might have to check back again or online. Overall, it’s not much of the big difference. They only just rebranded the place and the menu. Like I said, there’s not many people whenever I visit. It could be wrong time or day, but I hope that this place does well.
First visit to Stardust on a Saturday around 11 AM. There is a good amount of indoor seating. We tried the the purple moon (ube, taro, coffee), nutty by nature (black sesame, coffee), and strawberry collagen latte (strawberry puree, coffee, collagen foam). We all loved our drinks. The coffee is good and all of the flavor additions were tasty. The purple moon (ube taro) was the weakest of the bunch - it kind of tastes like an ube taro flavor you might get in milk tea so not very strong and generic. However, the nutty by nature was well balanced between the coffee and black sesame flavor. I could taste the black sesame, which was important to me. The strawberry latte was surprisingly good - I don't often think of coffee and strawberry being a combo. Overall, would definitely recommend coming here for coffee. There are food options as well but we didn't try any.
This is the former food hall. The restaurants that used to be here have combined into one, but they're still serving more or less the same food and drinks as before. I got a honeydew latte (Dew you love me?) and it was really good! It's like Korean melon milk combined with espresso.
