No nursing home is perfect, and many are far from it. It is very unfortunate that the nursing home system here in the United States is in desperate need of restructuring. My grandmother Rosa had a stroke in July of 2025 and she was left in a vegetative state. We had awful, horrendous experiences with two other nursing homes, until we found this one. It is not perfect, but it was truly the best one we could find in and around the Houston area that would accept a medicaid/medicare bed. This place as imperfect as it has some angels working there. I must shout out JJ Sierra the man who helped us get a bed in the first place; he is genuinely a fantastic human being. Then the nurses Joseph, Celestina (Tina), and Amanda are some hardworking, kind, loving individuals I will eternally be grateful for. They deserve tons of credit for the amount of work they must balance. Then some of my personal favorite staff, two hardworking angels, two Nursing Assistants Jessica and Ugochi (Gucci). They both been as loving, attentive, and as caring as any can possibly imagine. May God bless these individuals and may God continue to help this facility and many more like it. And although, my grandmother is no longer with us, I know she would be extremely grateful as and my family and I are eternally grateful. Thank you!

I was a rehab patient here for a week after a hospital stay for a respiratory infection. The place is fairly new, nice, clean, etc. I had a nice, well-appointed private room. They continued my medications and gave me oxygen, breathing …

My 96-year-old mother recently passed away while residing at Sterling Oaks. I want to thank the Sterling Oaks staff for the compassionate, excellent care they provided. She made friends with other residents, and they would socialize at many of the social activities. Family members would also participate in some of the social activities. One day my brother and I were playing bingo with my mother and her roommate. He was teasing me that he had more wins than me. That’s the competitive nature trait we inherited from our mother. For most of her stay, my mother resided in hall 200. I would like to thank all the staff of that hall who treated my mother with kindness and gentleness. I would like to give a shout out to CNA Alieu who took care of my mother the longest. He is very kind and compassionate and takes good care of his patients. He was a godsend to our mother. I would like to thank LVN Belinda and Kim (100 hall) who always answer my questions and listen to my concerns about what was going on with my mother. I would also like to thank CNA Javonte and CMA Monsvrat who bought a smile to her face. I will never forget all the staff who came and shared their kind feelings about my mother. It was wonderful to hear.

If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. I do not recommend this facility to anyone or their families. The staff and management were shockingly careless and showed no genuine concern …
