I had the best experience yesterday at Steve Hightower Salon. Isaac did an amazing job. From the base color, to the highlights, to the hair treatments to the cut and finally a style that I will be able to do at home. I have the perfect summer look now

I scheduled a haircut with Steve Hightower after reading good reviews regarding his work with long, thick hair. My experience wasn't the best. I waited about 45 minutes before being seen, and I wished the front desk person shared that he was running behind. I received a quick dry cut, a wash, and then a full haircut. My hair was cut MUCH shorter than I asked for, and the entire cut took about 15 minutes after the wash (for context, I have very thick hair and I've never had a cut take less than a hour). Steve seemed like he was in a hurry and asked if I was okay not having my hair dried and styled. I agreed to that, but in retrospect it was a mistake. It was only when I got home and my hair dried that I realized how poor the haircut was - not only did it become apparent how short it was cut, but there was no layering or other styling, just a simple blunt cut on very thick hair, which did not look good. For the first time in my life, I called the salon the next day and told them I was unhappy and asked them to fix it. They tried to charge me for a new appointment, but after some back and forth I was eventually booked and another stylist fixed it without cost. I can't remember the other stylist's name, but he did a great job, although I'm still gutted by how short the cut is. Although Steve was at the salon when I went back to have the cut fixed, we didn't have a conversation nor did he offer an apology, which was disappointing. The cut was $150 and for that amount I expected a better experience.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Steve Hightower Hair Salon and Spa! First of all, Steve is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel like a part of the family. My hair stylist Luna is AMAZING! I had a hair service from another salon that was completely botched which you can see in the first picture. It was very uneven and the color was way too orange. Luna was able fixed it beautifully (second picture) and gave me advice on how to maintain the health of my hair until my next appointment 6 weeks later. The second time I came to see Luna, she got my hair color exactly where I wanted it to be! You can see in the third picture how drastic the change was! I went from splotchy, brassy orange to a beautiful platinum blonde. Luna is so wonderfully talented and an all around amazing person! Thank you so much to Luna and Steve for making my hair beautiful again!

Steve did an amazing job cutting the hair of my teen boys with thin, curly hair. He knew just how to cut and style it to make it look fuller and healthier. My boys feel much happier and more confident after their new cuts!

I visited the salon on Friday 3/7 as a new client and scheduled with Javier. From the moment I walked inside I was greeted by two friendly ladies and felt welcomed as a new client. I have to give a huge shoutout to Javier for working almost an 8 hour shift on my hair. I had my appointment at 10 AM didn’t leave until almost 5 pm. He was kind enough to stay past their closing time and never rush the appointment. His work speaks for himself! Ladies book that appointment, Javier will work his magic. He knew exactly what he was doing with my hair, the amount of people who have complimented my hair is beautiful to see. Thank you Javier for giving me this beautiful look and taking your time on me. Top tier!!
