Absolutely WONDERFUL!! I did a complete makeover and photo shoot at Studio 21 Salons years ago. To this day, that was my favorite photo shoot ever. They truly embraced who I was in the shoot. I felt comfortable and relaxed!! The make up was super professional. Amiya is the best make-up artist in the business. My hair was superb too. The stylists know just what to do with your hair to make YOU pop!! I will never forget how I felt the day before the photo shoot and how my life changed afterwards. I had just lost about 30 pounds prior to the photo shoot. I was battling depression and anxiety. The photo shoot really gave me life. I'm so proud of the pictures I took and still love them to this day. I will never forget what Studio 21 Salons did for me and my self-esteem. Thank you all so much! Kia D (WeTalkRadio Network)

It has been awhile ago, but I went to get a sew in and Latrenda didn't tell me she didn't know how to do a sew in with/out a closure. I was there about 4 hours. All she did was wash/ condition and a sew in. I didn't think to much of it paid her the $150 and left. I went to work and people were laughing saying it looked like a birds nest on the top of my head. It was horrible!! I tried contacting her and she would not answer my calls. I had my sister to call and she magically answered !! Well anyways one of the ladies up there offered to redo it I declined, however I spoke to her daughter in person, she was no help. She said you did 2 weeks of wear out of it !! Lady give me my hard earned money back. Atleast 75 of it !! Never again!! If you don't know how to do something get someone who does. Wasted money & time !!

Mrs. LaTrenda, stylist and owner, slayed my do so I can travel internationally without the fuss. My braids look very neat and aren't too tight. The pictured style took 5 hours. The ambiance in the shop is conducive for enlightening girl talk, of which there was plenty. I was blessed to both receive and share wisdom about spirituality, religion, food, mental/physical health, and relationship w/self and others. There was also music for the soul lulling in the background. On a side note, the vegan restaurant next door, ItSo Vegan, is owned by Mrs. LaTrenda's daughter. I began practicing veganism just 4 days ago and this not-so- coincidental finding is sent from heaven. DE-LIC-IOUS!!!

I’m giving this a 1 star because I couldn’t give a ZERO, I scheduled an Wednesday afternoon appointment weeks ago with Latrenda to do my son’s hair for his wedding on Friday, she sends me a text at 7am the day of the appointment to tell me she moved my son’s appointment to the following day because she didn’t realize it was her bible study night, I replied back to her text telling her that He couldn’t do Thursday because it was the day before his wedding and it was going to be a very busy and hectic day with rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. I asked her if she could get him in earlier today but she never responded, I called the Salon and the number she texted me from still no answer or response. This situation but me and my son in a very bad situation because now I have to scramble around to find another stylist for my sons BIG DAY!.. This caused alot of frustration for us to say the least!! The situation she put us in at the last minute was very unprofessional and a very bad experience for us I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!
