Sun’s Auto Repair

Sun’s Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 7137 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19142, serving drivers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The available customer feedback describes both repair visits and vehicle inspections, so drivers looking for help with a car issue or an inspection may wish to contact the shop and confirm what they need before visiting. Its posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; it is closed Sunday. Calling ahead can help you check current availability, discuss the service you need, and clarify expected charges.

Reviews mention Tim by name and describe positive experiences with his repair work and automotive knowledge. One customer says Tim repaired a car quickly after the customer got off work, while another describes bringing a Honda in for an air-conditioning problem after a dealership recommended replacing the whole system. According to that reviewer, Tim replaced a filter and the air conditioning worked afterward. These are individual customer accounts, not a guarantee of a particular diagnosis or result, but they give prospective visitors a concrete sense of the kinds of repair experiences people have shared about the shop.

Feedback is mixed, and that context matters when choosing an auto repair shop. Sun’s Auto Repair has a 3.9-star rating from 76 reviews. Some customers report returning over several years and recommending Tim, while others describe concerns about customer service, inspection charges, or how inspection pricing was explained. Those concerns are also individual reports and do not establish what will happen during another visit. For a smoother appointment, ask what an inspection or repair includes, request an estimate before authorizing work, and confirm any applicable fees and requirements directly with the shop. Clear questions up front can help set expectations on both sides.

The shop may be worth considering for Philadelphia drivers who want to ask about vehicle repairs, an air-conditioning issue, or an inspection at a neighborhood location on Woodland Avenue. The reviews suggest that experiences can vary, so it is sensible to weigh the positive repair accounts alongside the service and pricing complaints rather than relying on a single review. Before making the trip, verify that the shop can address your vehicle’s specific issue and that its posted hours are current. Sun’s Auto Repair is located at 7137 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19142, and its listed Saturday hours provide an option for customers who cannot visit during the workweek.
