Sign in to reviewTHEY BROKE MY CAR AND BLAMED ME. I brought my car to this place for an oil change and tire rotation. They could not unscrew the lug nuts but forced it anyway and broke the lug nuts. The owner told me to go buy a new set of lug nuts and pay for it out of pocket and bring it back another day because it wasnt their mistake then he WALKED AWAY. Very very unprofessional and rude. Now that the lug nuts are broken. I feel unsafe driving at high speed on the freeway. I dont trust that the wheels are fully and securely connected to the car. Btw, the wheels cant be removed/rotated anymore. It will cost me $200 to fix that. Last but not least, they topped off my car coolant with TAP WATER. I caught it red handed. They put tap water in the coolant bottle to make customers think it's coolant. Tap water will evaporate and cause your car to overheat easily. This is a very expensive repair. AVOID THIS SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR AND YOUR LIFE.
Customer service is not like the dealership and it's shocking for some but Sunny is the most honest mechanic I know. First time I came is for a rough running 97 mustang. Sunny diagnosed $200 distributor swap but I ended up paying $75 part and labor for some smaller fix that solved the problem. Sunny guarantee his work so for a couple times I have to bring my car back for the same problem, no extra charge. I trust Sunny for all services my 2012 pilot and 2008 Lexus including scheduled 15/30k maintenance. I'm confident buying used cars since I started coming here for service. The dealership is only for free service like recalls and factory defects. Update 9/9/2024: Avoid coming if Sunny, the owner, is not around. It's a nightmare dealing with anyone other than Sunny. I have to reluctantly take my car to the shop next door after a long incomprehensible discussion with the worker. I'll still come back... I just need to call ahead to make sure Sunny is in.
These guys are great, Mr. Sunny(The owner) is a very nice man, and a master tech. He can listen to your car and know exactly what's wrong with. That's been my experience at Sunnys. Great work, for a great price and if there's any other problems your car is experiencing he'll let you know if it needs repairing. A great place to go for great honest work. Some of these other reviews are just Karens cappin'. These guys are legit. Go to Sunnys on Westminster Blvd. You won't be disappointed, I've been coming here for years and it's always been a great experience.
I am SHOCKED to see negative reviews on here. I've gone to Sunny's for as long as I've been driving and would never go anywhere else. The owner is honest, fair, and the prices are great. He will never do unnecessary work and has actually refused to "repair" something before it actually needs to be done. For example, he thought I needed an oil change based on the mileage (many months after my husband changed the oil), checked it and told me it's unnecessary and the oil is good. Most mechanics would have just done the oil change to correct more money. I also thought, based on AAA, that my alternator needed to be replaced but my car just needed a new battery ($200 cheaper). If you're looking for a place you can trust, go here!
The owner kien is awful he test drove my car told me it was most likely the drive shaft then asked me to bring it back after the weekend when i called on monday morning he then told me your car has to many problems i dont want you car here take it somewhere else and hung up on me i would not of even gave him a 1 star except i had to in order to leave a review. He is rude and i am shocked there could be a mechanic this rude! Never go here if you have a big problem with your car because he does not want to deal with it!! Horrible bussines ethincs.
