Beautiful building, great service, fantastic food all scratch-made in house. The egg drop soup is light and refreshing. The miso soup is rich, bold, and flavorful. The pork stuffed fried eggplant is tender and hearty. All delicious, but the real show stopper is that little bowl of chili sauce served on the side - downright decadent dipping. 100/10

Really enjoyed our meal at Sweet Chive. The sushi chef is genuinely Japanese and you can tell he puts a lot of care and effort into his work. Every piece was made with attention to detail and tasted fresh. The portions were bigger than expected, and everything we ordered was delicious. A great spot for quality Japanese food. Would definitely come back.

This is cooking with soul, with story, and with an uncompromising standard that is increasingly rare to find. The Beef Noodle Soup itself is nothing short of Taiwan's crown jewel, the national dish of an entire nation, so deeply celebrated that Taipei dedicates an annual international festival in its honor, drawing competitors from across the globe to Yuanshan Expo Park. One taste and it is immediately clear why. The broth is a revelation: rich, deeply layered, and built with the kind of patience that cannot be rushed. The noodles arrive generous and perfectly suited to carry every drop. And then there is the chili oil — not deployed for heat's sake, but with intention and restraint, adding a warmth that deepens the bowl rather than overwhelms it. Spice with a purpose. And again, it was amazing. Developed flavors and spices. I cannot stress enough, come here and try the food.

Cute restaurant with nice decor. The portion was smaller but the taste is good. Nice to see some of the traditional Taiwanese dishes but many items was not available when I try to order it.

First time visiting Sweet Chive and absolutely loved it! Seems like you really can’t go wrong with anything you get here. The Pork Bao was probably the best I’ve had, amazing flavor! Highly recommend the Holly Hood sushi roll the smoky flavor makes this roll so unique! 1000% recommend and would come here again! Service was 10/10 too- everyone is so friendly and our server had great recommendations!
