i had a lovely experience today with Marilynn at sweet kitty :3 (please forgive me if i misspelled your name ;w;) i had just come in after getting my retainer, so my speech was all messed up & i was having some difficulties to say the least lol, but she was incredibly kind & patient with me & i really appreciated that . :) i was so excited to have finally came by !! she told me some cool backround info about certain items in the store- & also told me that this one has been open for 27 years, which is incredible :p when i asked about certain characters [merchandise,] she made note of it & told me she would keep her eye out for me, which is so kind- & they also ship !!! she also gave me a cute little pin w/ hk & friends on the front, w/ their IG @ :p super cute i also was given the grace of being allowed to photograph a poster of a character in the store that i've never been lucky enough to see out & about :3 that was very sweet & i appreciate that courtesy ^__^ definitely wish to return here, this place is quite a gem, & a huge thank you again to Marilyn . Great place if you're into manga / anime. There are all kinds of things from lanyards, posters, bags, figurines, stickers, and much more. Lots in the store and it's not big so isn't ideal for those in wheelchairs or walkers. You could get around but it would be tight. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Any question you have will be answered well. We bought a few items. Not inexpensive but great quality items so worth the price.
We found out about this place a few years ago when driving by on our way home. My daughter noticed it and wanted to check it out, but it was closed so we came back another day. When we walked in I felt a sense of nostalgia and it brought me back to my childhood. My favorite store was Sanrio back in the 80s and 90s there’s not much of them left so whenever I see a store that has Sanrio characters I get so happy. The staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. This place is a treat for Sanrio lovers and anime collectors. Highly recommended for those wanting selective items you won’t find just anywhere else. Mostly Sanrio items that are really overpriced if you compare to other stores nearby. Signs everywhere about being on camera as well as several do not shoplift signs kinda make you not want to touch anything. They apparently don’t allow photography inside the store which also seems weird.
Haven't been to the store in years and love how it never changed. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. A variety of items and deals offered. Will go again during the holidays to do some gift shopping for my anime friends.
