TaiChi Bodywork Center is a massage spa at 4325 Main St in Philadelphia, PA 19127, serving people looking for bodywork in the city. Customer feedback points to deep tissue massage, Thai-style massage, and hot stone massage as options guests have enjoyed. Whether you are seeking focused pressure after long workdays or a relaxing appointment, the reviews suggest that the experience can depend on the treatment and the preferences you share with your therapist. The center is rated 4.2 out of 5 based on 193 reviews, giving prospective guests a useful snapshot of local customer experiences.
Deep tissue massage is a recurring highlight in customer comments. One guest who booked a 90-minute session described receiving the firm pressure they wanted after working long hours as a nail technician. Another reviewer, familiar with Thai massage from travel in Thailand, praised the deep tissue experience they received here. Hot stone massage has also earned enthusiastic feedback from a returning customer. These reviews offer helpful context if you are comparing massage spas in Philadelphia, but they are individual experiences rather than a guarantee that every session will feel the same.
Guests have described the atmosphere as relaxing and the staff as kind, and one reviewer appreciated having an ATM on site. At the same time, feedback is not uniformly positive: one customer reported an uncomfortable interaction with the person providing their massage. If you have particular preferences about pressure, technique, or therapist, consider communicating them clearly when arranging your appointment and before the session begins. A massage is personal, and feeling comfortable with the experience matters as much as choosing a style of bodywork.
TaiChi Bodywork Center is open every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., according to its listed hours. Its long daily schedule may suit people seeking an appointment outside a standard workday, including after a shift or on the weekend. The Philadelphia location is on Main Street in the 19127 area. For anyone considering a deep tissue, Thai-style, or hot stone massage nearby, the combination of customer feedback, treatment mentions, and posted hours can help with planning. Check directly with the business for current availability, service details, and any appointment arrangements before visiting.

I had a great experience. I booked the 90 minute massage for my birthday. Jenny was the masseuse and she was absolutely incredible. I like a very deep tissue massage and she absolutely delivered. I’m a nail technician and I work very long hours so my body Hurts a lot. I feel like she unlocked my back and my physical pain literally melted away. She also stretched my body out, which was wonderful. The prices are really good as well which allows you to be able to tip more. I will definitely be going back.
Wowzers! What a massage. I've definitely been looking for a real Thai Massage ever since my trip to Thailand. This place really delivers the best deep tissue massage I've had in a very long time. Way better than hand and stone. I feel so …
My friend and I had separate appointments for the same time. They obviously were short a person or something because the manager/front desk man was who I was given. Mind you I’m a girl and my friend was a guy(he got a woman). The Man told me to get ready and then just started aggressively rubbing my back. The only thing he asked was how long I wanted? I scheduled for 90 minutes. He goes 90!? No no 30 minutes or hour. For those first 15-20 min I was in a great amount of pain. He obviously had no clue of what he was doing. He never even asked what areas hurt, how much pressure I’d like, etc. I scheduled for cupping but at this point I gave up. Also, He took a phone call while working on me. Finally when a lady was available she switched with him. She then was only using one hand because the other was on her phone. How did I know? Because it was right next to my head. After her I got a different lady for some reason and she did great until she was pushing her elbow into my tailbone. At the end both me and my friend go to pay and he gives a tip, They then ask where my tip is. You gotta be kidding me, with that service your lucky I even paid at all. I had an extra 5$ so I give it. The guy then makes me feel bad and says I should be giving 10 or 20. First experience and will be my last. I’ve been to multiple different spas, this is my worst one. DONT RECOMMEND!!!
I had such a wonderful experience! The massage was phenomenal, the staff is so kind, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. There is an ATM on site which is convenient. I will definitely be returning!
