Its listed weekday hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the office is listed as closed on Saturday and Sunday. Its Washington Avenue address gives visitors a specific Philadelphia location to use when planning an inquiry or appointment.
Customer feedback offers important context for anyone considering working with Target Realty. The listing shows a 2-star rating based on 23 reviews, and the sample reviews provided are predominantly critical. Several reviewers describe renting a property through the agency and report concerns involving maintenance requests, plumbing leaks, flooding, rodents, and suspected mold. Other reviewers raise concerns about communication, move-out notices, and the condition or usability of appliances during property visits. These accounts reflect individual customers’ experiences, not independently verified findings, but they are relevant when assessing whether the agency’s approach fits your needs.
People considering a rental or property viewing may want to make expectations clear before committing. Ask who handles repairs, how maintenance issues should be reported, what response process to expect, and how urgent problems are handled. During a viewing, check appliances and fixtures in person rather than relying only on appearance: confirm that doors and drawers open, controls work as expected, and equipment can be accessed safely. Review the lease or other written terms carefully, including notice periods and responsibilities for repairs, and keep copies of communications. These practical steps can help prospective clients understand a property and the arrangements connected with it.
Target Realty may be relevant to people seeking a real estate agency in Philadelphia, including those exploring a rental or arranging a property visit, but the public information provided does not confirm the full range of services. Because the available reviews describe serious concerns, prospective clients should weigh that feedback, ask specific questions, and document important agreements before moving forward. For a current answer about availability, services, or office visits, contact the agency during its listed weekday hours. A careful conversation and a thorough property inspection can help you decide whether Target Realty is the right fit for your situation in Philadelphia, PA.

when you visit a property with them, make sure you check whether the appliances are usable. can you open the dishwasher while standing at the sink? do the knobs on the stovetop correspond to actual burners or has it been installed backwards? can you open the microwave without climbing onto the counter / hitting your head? etc. expect extremely thin walls and amplification between floors where they have skimped on insulation material in their properties. the pet fees are onerous, both the refundable and non-refundable options. also note that if there are no locks on the building doors or the garage is stuck open, it will stay that way for a long time. if you have a problem with your unit, they will respond, but you have to contact multiple times by text, email, and phone. sometimes you may have to go through the leasing agent because they at least respond. their bookkeeping methods are not great. when (not if) they make a mistake tracking your payments, they will accuse you of missing payments. make sure you keep evidence of your payments saved somewhere long-term, because sometimes the accusations will go back months, beyond when your cloud saving methods may auto-delete screenshots / records. not the worst landlord I've ever experienced, but close. giving two stars because the handyman they send and the agent Fiona Fu are on the ball and very competent--once I realized I had to contact them by multiple methods to get a reply, I never went more than a couple days with problems inside the apartment (see above for building-level damage, which was rarely if ever addressed). and after a great deal of work, more work than I have ever experienced in my long history of renting, I did finally get my security deposit back.
If I could choose 0 starts I would. I am currently renting from Target and our house is horrible. They have not offered much help at all. We’ve experienced multiple pipe leaks, floods, rodents, and now black mold. The best they could do is …
Target Realty kicked my 6 year old son and myself out during one of the worst housing markets in 60 years. Their reason? To make room for “family”. They tried giving us only 30 days to leave but after checking the lease I had to explain to them they were wrong and I had 60 days. I told them how I was not finding anything. They offered NO help finding a new place. Only concerned with me vacating the property. Target Realty would call every week only to ask if I found a new place, never to offer help which was extremely insulting. They also charged me 100 trash removal fee for a air conditioner that was there when I moved in. READ YOUR LEASE. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO REMORSE, NO SYMPATHY. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR MONEY AND THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
If I could give zero stars I would. These people have been the absolute worse since move in. Imagine being in a property for over 10 years and constantly requesting the same things in THEIR property to be fixed. From major plumbing issue to …
People PLEASE beware! These people are con artists. There's too much damages that are being ignored. And if you call them too often (for repairs), they'll try to raise the rent to compensate for all of the repairs. If not, they'll claim that there will be a buyer looking into buying the property. Lies! Apparently, everything is stated on the lease when you sign. Please be careful & rent at your own risk! Someone's going to put these people under investigation sooner or later, and shut them down one after another. They're scamming money from families & "kicking them out" (on short notice) by giving them no choice to either pay the suddenly raised rent [in less than a year] or leave on their own. I assume it's their own people posing as buyers to come at look at the property, WHILE there's people living in it. All because tenants demand to have common repairs fixed or refuse to pay the suddenly raised rent. Everything just seem too fishy with these people. Now folks, if you have children, tell me...how scary is that?
