We came here from Olympia to try this spot for our anniversary and wow what an amazing restaurant!! Delicious food, confortable homey atmosphere and very kind staff. It was my first time trying Yemeni food and it blew me away!! We got the galaba Lamb with bread, galaba chicken with bread and a side of mandi rice. Everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The portions were bigger than expected and now we have leftovers to enjoy again tomorrow. Absolutely worth the drive to Kent!! Can't wait to come back and try the fish!!

Delicious Food, Fast Service, Great Value! Out of all the restaurants we have tried so far, this cute little place is a standout. We went there for our 21st anniversary, and I am so glad we gave it a try! The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the service is both fast and friendly. Even the restroom is clean. Keep in mind that it is a small, casual spot rather than a fancy establishment. If you are looking for upscale decor, this isn't it. However, I will happily take exceptional food and wonderful service over an overpriced, fancy restaurant with horrible service any day. We will definitely be going back! Highly recommended! P.S: Yes, their food is Halal.

Very delicious lamb! 🐑 It fell right off the bone. I loved that they had fatty pieces and it goes so well with the green pepper sauce on the side. The chicken had that amazing smoky wok hei flavor (if you know what I mean), which I absolutely loved! 😍 came sizzling hot. Everything was packed with flavor. I haven’t had a meal this good in a while. The food also came out quickly, we walked in at 6 PM on a Wednesday and didn’t have to wait long. The waitress was very sweet and attentive.

First of all, we got the lamb with rice and it was phenomenal. What they say about the lamb is true — it’s beautifully marbled with bits of fat and lean meat, well seasoned with the perfect gamey flavor, and is so tender it falls off the …

Drove from South Tacoma just because the food looked good. Now I have to drive from South Tacoma becuase the food IS good. It's damn delicious. I've never even had Lamb Liver but I was tossing it in the bread and into my mouth socket like hungry hungry hippos. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted lamb...it's like the best beef shank you've ever made...except with lamb flavor. It's so tender and juicy and delicious, I want more already. I wish it wasn't the 4th of July just so I had an excuse to go back and get more. That's how good it is. Service was also fantastic, this is a casual place, eat with your hands as you're supposed to, try something new. Oh if you get the Chai you'll never want another chai from anywhere else. It's so good. So much flavor. Taste of Yemen? More like Taste of Heaven. We'll be back. 100%.
