Tech Express Mobile Repair Srvc. is an ATV repair shop serving Oakland, CA, with a listed address at 6950 Balsam Way, Oakland, CA 94611, United States. For local customers searching for mobile powersports or small-vehicle repair support in the Oakland area, the business is associated with service calls for ATVs and related recreational vehicles, including customer-mentioned requests involving motorcycles, jet skis, RVs, and other equipment that may need hands-on troubleshooting. The business name suggests a mobile repair focus, which can be useful for owners who prefer not to transport a vehicle before getting an initial look from a mechanic.

Customers considering Tech Express Mobile Repair Srvc. should know that the public review history is limited and mixed, with a listed rating of 2.2 from 6 reviews. Several reviewers describe concerns around appointments, deposits, billing, no-shows, incomplete repairs, or follow-up communication. At the same time, one customer reports that Jerome, the proprietor mentioned in reviews, was kind, arrived on time, adjusted to the customer’s needs, and helped fix a motorcycle. Because the feedback varies significantly, the best fit may be for customers who are comfortable confirming service details carefully before booking.

As an ATV repair shop in Oakland, California, this business may appeal to people who need help diagnosing mechanical issues with off-road or recreational vehicles and want a mobile-style repair option near their location. Based on the customer comments available, possible service situations have included attempts to repair a jet ski, start an RV, and work on a motorcycle. These examples do not guarantee every service is available, but they do show the kinds of vehicles customers have contacted the business about. Anyone with a specific ATV, motorcycle, or personal watercraft issue should ask directly whether the model, parts, tools, and repair type can be handled.

Before scheduling, it is wise to request clear written confirmation of the appointment time, expected labor window, deposit or prepayment policy, cancellation process, and what happens if the repair cannot be completed during the visit. Customers may also want to ask whether parts need to be ordered in advance, whether the technician will arrive with the tools required for the specific vehicle, and whether follow-up visits are included or billed separately. These practical questions can help set expectations and reduce misunderstandings, especially for mobile repair work where timing, access, and equipment matter.

For Oakland residents comparing local repair options, Tech Express Mobile Repair Srvc. is a business to evaluate with care. Its location at 6950 Balsam Way places it within Oakland, CA, and its category connects it to ATV repair searches in the area. The most helpful approach is to contact the business directly, describe the vehicle and issue in detail, and make sure every important service term is confirmed before payment. With that preparation, customers can make a more informed decision about whether this mobile repair provider matches their needs, timeline, and comfort level.

Jerome the proprietor of the business, never showed up for the appointment after promptly charging me 197$ for a 2 hour commitment. He gave me the run around when I called him to find out what was happening. I eventually cancelled the appointment when he did not show up even an hour past the appointment time. Once I had cancelled he texted me back using abusive and misogynist language. I am going to dispute the charges via my credit card. I am glad I did not let him work on my motorcycle. I wish I had never dealt with him. Save yourself a headache and steer clear of this guy.

I called this company to repair a jet ski. I ordered all needed material before and jerome came. For the first 2 hours he was trying to open the jet ski..he said it's a new model he doesn't know. After 3 hours he said he need to take one part to the shop and is gone come back next day 10am.. he showed up next day 2pm. I asked jerome that charge per hour how much I can end with the bill and he said no max then 800$ I agree to the price but after that I got an invoice for 1100$ not include the down payment of 260 that I paid. After a lot of arguments he agree for 1050$ which I still not approving because I feel he lied to me. And every store u checked said bill sepose to be no more then 500$. So herome that intruduce him self as a technician and not the owner did fix the jet ski but you can call him for repair you know where you start but you don't know where you end.

A real flake. Required a $350 deposit to book an appointment. Arrived on motorcycle with limited tools. Worked 1-1/2 hours and couldn't get the RV started. Went and got his van with all his tools. Did not get car running. He had to leave and said another mechanic would come tomorrow. When no one arrived I called back and was told someone was on the way. No one came. As he had my money and I had no time to search for another mechanic I called again. Again told someone was on the way. No one showed up. He stoped taking my calls. His voicemail is always full.

This guy is a con artist, makes appointments that he never shows up to but is very prompt in billing for services, before actually delivering on his commitment
