Very professional, Very good mechanics, And I am very pleased with my new engine on my 2017 Silverado, This is the third motor on three different truck. They have done for me. They do tremendous work that’s why I keep on coming back, Thank you appreciate you.

You know there's a saying: "There are 3 things in life when it comes to automotive repairs. GOOD, CHEAP and FAST. But one can only have two." So which two do you choose? Well, if you've taken your car(s) here to Texon, you've done some calling around and may be done some homework and you know they are GOOD at what they do for many many years. So, you do want someone good to work on your car(s). You've done well. They know cars. But they ain't CHEAP by all standard, fair however for what's being done in my opinion, and I've had my fair share of major works being done by Texon from the $1k to the $10k new engine replacement and between. Always let me decide what needed to be done not up sale, not pushy ever. Then that leaves you with FAST. Your ride may be your baby, but have you seen their repair bay? Or should I say bays with a major S. There are many many vehicles being work on in various stages at any given time...so your baby may not be the only one being pampered on. Precision work takes time! Have some patience, one part may fail when the dismantling may find other related issues when things are being open up. Unexpected and increase expenses do happen. C'est la vie. So, there you go. You choose two and trust your instinct on their ability to work on your vehicle and make your decision. Then it comes down TRUST! There are plenty of mechanic shops in Sugarland, TX where I live, but I chose to drive all the way to Texon for ALL my mechanic work because I can trust them. It's a cross country drive every time I make that trip and that fuddging Galleria traffic can make one goes insane (any time of the day and any day). But for peace of mind knowing works are done right, it's worth it. If there are imperfection on the work at time, and there will be when so many things are intricately put back together, they always do right to correct it. One can't expect them to be responsible for the 200K miles bell tensioner pulleys squeaking like a hog in a slaughterhouse when they only replace your old water pump. Be automotive educated and be reasonable then the world is a better place for all. Talk to Clay or Clayton as his mom named him. Be up front and be truthful about what you want done and what is expected. Don't put on your boxing gloves as if he's about to rob you...he'll listen to you and treat you with the best version of yourself...man-to-man. I hope this helps you in your decision making!

Can’t be more pleased! I had a 5.7 Liter rebuilt engine installed in my 99 Tahoe. The engine runs better than new! Great acceleration and super smooth. Engine compartment looks great too. Thanks for doing an outstanding job!
