If you’re looking for bold flavors and a fun, casual dining experience, The Boiling Crab absolutely delivers. From the moment the food hits the table, you can tell this place is all about quality and flavor. The seafood is always fresh, perfectly cooked, and generously seasoned. Their signature sauces—especially the “Whole Sha-Bang”—are incredibly rich, buttery, and packed with a delicious blend of spices that make every bite unforgettable. One of the best parts of the experience is how hands-on it is. Eating with your hands, cracking shells, and diving into the feast creates a lively and enjoyable atmosphere whether you’re with friends or family. The shrimp, crab, and crawfish are consistently flavorful, and the portions are satisfying. The staff is friendly and efficient, making sure everything runs smoothly even when it gets busy. Despite the casual setup, the overall service feels attentive and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind getting a little messy because the food is absolutely worth it. I've been going to Boiling Crab for a couple decades now, and it's become the standard for Viet Cajun in California. It's great for it's flavors and consistency. The only thing is the wait times are just crazy long. Most of the time I order to-go now, but it's nice to eat at the restaurant when you have a group of friends, and you don't want to make a mess at home. It's still great, but I would put my name down and go run some errands if I plan to dine in.

Best crab pot that I have been to in the US! If you are foodie, you have to try this place out. Their sha-bang sauce is unique. Love the combination of fresh garlic along with their spices. It goes well on top a side of their white rice. This location has the best customer service. I’ve always been met with the kindest staff. The sizes of some of their shellfish are seasonal, but I’ve always felt the shrimp, clams, and mussels have a consistently good amount of meat. If you are dying for some kind of crab, my favorite is the snow crab. And if you need a metal crab cracker, don’t be shy to ask for one. Thank you Boiling Crab for the good food and memories!
