The Ginger Pig — ★★★★☆ 4/5 Good food, poor service. Enjoyed most of what we ordered. The ice cream sandwich is a must but you have to order it 25 mins early. It was worth it. Docked a star because tables were dirty and we never got refills or had anything bussed. Staff seemed overwhelmed. For a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant, service should match the food quality. Would go back for the food, but hope they improve on the service side.
You won’t believe a parking lot patio to be nice. Pork shoulder is great and portions are generous. At first we were taken back that the rice was served in a chinese take out box, but what smart way of serving it. Cucumber salad was great …
I'm not saying the corn flake french toast will definitely change your life, but I am saying the corn flake french toast *could* change your life. (Warning: the change might be that you dream about it every single day.) I've been here a couple of times and had an a+ time. The cocktails and mocktails are inventive and well balanced. My favorite is Nice Melons! Favorite foods: obvs the french toast, the sichuan spicy eggplant, the japanese fried chicken, and the tom yum noodle. The furikake potatoes were meh and the f me up dog was a lil too weird for me. I also didn't love the ants climbing on a tree. I liked the bbq pork shoulder, but it was a little dry. Overall, will definitely be back and try some different things. They also typically have rotating specials. (I do wish they took reservations!)
Was suggested by a peep i meet at a hot springs about 500 miles away. Smells fantastic in here!! There's gonna have to be several return trips. Based off of the smell alone. Love all the multi colored lanterns on the ceiling. Veronica was …
Stellar, stunning, brain-tickling food and drink. Each bite is full of zest and energy and genuinely feels like it’s made with love. Ambiance is A1 too, adorable lanterns and fairy lights adorning the ceiling and boxed poppies lining the outdoor area. Chris was our server and was simply delightful, great at his job, engaging, provided wonderful recommendations based on our silly wants, and made us laugh every time he came to the table. 15/10 experience.
