I’ve been coming here for years, and I feel like both the service and the quality of the latte have definitely improved over time. I was a little surprised reading other reviews mentioning they were greeted when they walked in because I’ve never really had that experience 😅 I haven’t tried any of the food yet, but the latte has gotten noticeably better, which I appreciate. The location is also really nice, right next to the field, and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it has a cozy, easygoing vibe.

They have, hands down, the best Matcha in Poway. I am constantly disappointed in takeout matcha, even from fancy tea shops that specialize in matcha. The matcha here is consistently rich and earthy. Today, my barista made the silkiest matcha I've ever had and it tasted amazing - bravo! Unfortunately, in the past I've ordered food and every time it takes at least 20 minutes for a toast even when the shop is empty. I stopped ordering food because I simply don't have time to wait that long. Service is hit and miss.

I got the hot Matcha Latte with hazelnut sweetener & classic sourdough. The staff are nice and friendly. A good place to get a warm coffee ☕️ 01.18.2026 I stop by to get organic sourdough bread. The bread is pretty good. The place is clean and well stocked. They have outdoor seating to enjoy the coffee with friends or families.

I was looking forward to trying this cafe as the reviews looked very promising. I’m an avid coffee drinker always looking to see what SD has to offer. I decided to order a cortado, upon receiving my drink I was quite disappointed in the appearance of the drink. Typically with a cafe with expensive equipment such as this one I expect at least some level of skill to reflect at the very least the ratings and reviews this place has. But I decided to not let this ruin my initial impressions of this place! Upon trying my drink, I wasn’t satisfied with the espresso at all! The taste was very flat, and just acidic. No bitterness, nor any slight sweetness from either from the espresso or the steamed milk. There was no body to the drink whatsoever, so I was pretty bummed out. It tasted like a shot that was pulled too fast… I was also looking forward to potentially buying some roasted beans, but none of them have their roast dates, so I didn’t feel confident that I would get quality beans. I don’t think I would return to an establishment like this, which is a shame as the ambiance is nice. If anyone frequents this place, please let me know when is the best time to order drinks. It’s such a shame that a promising place could be a disappointment. Luckily the drink was only $3, so I won't act like I got scammed. If you like affordable coffee then you should definitely check this place out!

Love the coffee and atmosphere here. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk this morning. The milk foam on the top is just so airy and fluffy. The flavor is amazing. It feels so nice at a rainy Saturday morning. Also the price here is very reasonable. Very cute and hearty place.
