The Peached Tortilla

Peached Tortilla continues to be one of our favorite spots in Austin, and their new menu is another reason why. We had the chance to attend the unveiling and were so impressed with the new additions. The pork dumplings were packed with flavor, and the Texas red snapper was fresh, perfectly cooked, and a standout dish. We also loved seeing the upgraded patio and new furniture—it makes an already great space even more inviting. Their social happy hour never disappoints. The pork belly bao buns and tacos are staples for us every visit, and they continue to deliver. Between the incredible food, welcoming atmosphere, and consistently great service, Peached Tortilla is always an easy recommendation. Can't wait to come back and work our way through more of the new menu!

We usually dine at Bar Peached but with the recent fire we pivoted to Peached Tortilla off Burnet and it’s a very cute spot! This restaurant is smaller though, so I’d recommend reservations just to make sure you won’t wait. They have indoor seating as well as a covered patio area. We typically dine for the Tuesdays steak frites and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Drinks wise the margarita de peached is a classic (it does have a kick though so maybe skip if you don’t like spicy) and the blackberry beret was good too! Service can be a little spotty depending on how busy they are but we don’t mind since we are typically chatting with our group.

Tried Peach Tortilla for a quick to go dinner and honestly it was a solid pick. I called my order in and the food was ready about 15 minutes later, which felt pretty fast and convenient. I cannot really speak on the full service experience since I did not dine in, but the hostess I talked to was friendly and helpful. Parking looks like it could be a bit of a struggle when it is busy, so that is something to keep in mind. I ordered the pork belly buns, the brussels sprouts, and the pork belly bowl. The pork belly buns were easily the highlight. I took one bite and immediately kept eating, completely forgetting to grab a picture, which says everything. Super flavorful, soft buns, and the pork belly was cooked just right. The brussels sprouts were also really good. They were cooked well, not soggy, and had great flavor that made them feel more like a treat than just a side. The pork belly bowl was huge and very filling. I finished feeling completely stuffed, so you definitely get your money’s worth there. Overall, it was a great quick dinner option that actually satisfied the craving for something warm and flavorful. I would go back and try more of the menu, especially since the pork belly items were such a win. For a fast to go meal, this place definitely delivered.

Everything we ate was a 10/10. Happy hour (social hour) has great deals, love a restaurant that puts food on their happy hour too. The staff were very nice, they even wrote me a birthday card!
