The Piercing Shop is a body piercing shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 6985 W Sahara Ave Ste 206, Las Vegas, NV 89117. For locals and visitors looking for a piercing-focused studio, it offers a place to ask about a new piercing or get help with an existing one. Customer reviews mention ear piercings such as double helix and third-lobe placements, as well as daith, vertical hood, and nipple piercings. Some visitors also describe coming in for retainers or to have jewelry removed for an MRI. Because individual needs and anatomy differ, discussing the desired placement and any concerns with the piercer before proceeding can help make the visit more comfortable and informed.

Reviewers often describe the staff as friendly and welcoming, and several say they felt at ease during appointments that initially made them nervous. One customer specifically praised Angela for helping them feel comfortable during a vertical hood piercing. Others mention the shop’s atmosphere positively, describing a relaxed, inviting feel. These personal accounts can help prospective clients understand the kind of experience some customers report, while remembering that comfort, pain, and healing are individual. Reviews also include concerns about painful jewelry changes and piercings that did not heal as expected, so it is sensible to ask questions about placement, healing, and aftercare before making a decision.

The business is described by a visitor as one of the area’s studios dedicated strictly to piercing, rather than a general shop that offers piercing alongside other services. That focus may appeal to people who want to talk with a piercing professional about a specific placement, jewelry, or a practical need such as a retainer. The available customer feedback reflects a range of experiences, so prospective clients may wish to review recent feedback and explain their priorities clearly during a consultation. The listed rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 678 reviews; it offers useful context, but does not guarantee that every appointment or healing experience will be the same.

The Piercing Shop is open Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. Those evening and weekend hours can suit people planning around work, school, or a visit to Las Vegas. Before heading to the Sahara Avenue location, check the current hours and contact the shop directly with questions about availability, the piercing you have in mind, or retainer and jewelry needs. Whether you are considering your first piercing or adding another, a clear conversation about your goals and comfort level is a practical place to start.

I had an amazing experience at the Piercing Shop! 👏🏼✨️ I got my double helix and third lobe piercing done, and the entire experience was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The vibes in the shop were immaculate 🙌🏻 My piercer, Layne, did an amazing job through their apprentice special. He was professional, gentle, and took the time to make sure everything was placed perfectly. I'm very happy with how my piercings turned out and how smoothly they are healing! I will definitely be returning for future piercings. Highly recommend! ✨💛👂🏻

I came for my vertical hood piercing and was absolutely terrified…. But Angela made this experience by far my best piercing experience ever. What an incredible woman and piercer. She made me feel beautiful and completely comfortable. I am dying to figure out what else she can pierce for me! Thanks so much mama!

I came in to get retainers for my nipple piercings and to get my daith piercing taken out (for an MRI). Angela took me back to put in the retainers and it was very painful. It was honestly more painful than getting my nipples pierced. I’m not sure if that’s normal, but I felt like maybe the retainers were too big. I returned today to get the jewelry put back in, and Angela once again helped me. I was hesitant given the last experience, but I prefer female piercers for the handling of my nipple piercings, so I decided to give her another shot. She was very impatient and not very friendly. She also did not put my daith back in correctly (see image). The ring is not fully closed. It’s frustrating because I don’t live close and it wasn’t free. I’m probably just going to go somewhere else and pay again because I’ve had two bad experiences here now. Also, when I was discussing options for a new piercing, Angela didn’t seem interested in helping me. I was thinking about getting the rook piercing, but had been told previously that I didn’t have the ideal anatomy for it. She barely looked at my ear and said that it would be fine. I feel like piercers should be more patient and go over multiple options with their clients to make sure they pick the best piercing for their anatomy to ensure proper healing. I understand that a place that is walk-ins only is probably busier and faster-paced, but that doesn’t mean that the piercers should be rushing… I recommend just going somewhere else that will take the proper time to do a good job. I’m glad I went with my gut and went to a different shop down the street instead. They were more patient and reviewed options with me. They also agreed that a rook wasn’t the best choice so I went with a different ear piercing. The other shop also had a lot more jewelry options and just seemed a lot more professional. I only gave this place two stars instead of one because it was clean inside.

Would love to say I had a great experience here overall but unfortunately half the piercings I’ve got here have failed. Angela pierced me twice and both placements were crooked and therefore never healed so I had to take them out and am waiting for them to heal before getting it redone elsewhere. I would recommend doing your research especially for the type of piercing you want to get. Layne and Jordan did a fantastic job otherwise!

Was staying in town with my son and wanted to go get a few piercings done. Did a bit of research and found “The Piercing shop” and very happy I did. They are one of the few strictly piercing studios in the area. Which shows that they are dedicated to their art and the evolution of it. They are not an old Vegas tattoo shop with a dirty piercing corner by any means. Shop was clean and well kept all staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They took time to talk about the ideas choose quality jewelry and check anatomy to make sure the piercing would be safe heal well and look proper once done. Amazing overall experience I would highly recommend this studio if in the Vegas area and wanting a piercing.
