Reviews describe experiences with individual providers as well as interactions with reception and other clinic staff. Several patients praise providers for listening carefully, explaining medical information, and taking time to understand their concerns. One reviewer highlights Brittany Allen, NP, for an educational and compassionate approach, while another describes Dr. Chandran as kind and unhurried in the Family Medicine Department. Patients also mention Dr. Pettit’s thorough explanations and follow-up after a tele-visit. These comments offer a sense of the personal attention some patients have experienced, though individual care can vary.
Patient feedback is not uniformly positive. Some reviews raise concerns about check-in interactions, communication, and follow-up on lab results or treatment concerns. For anyone comparing medical clinics in Beaverton, this range of feedback is worth considering alongside personal priorities, such as clear communication, timely responses, and a provider who makes room for questions. The clinic has a 3.7-star rating from 345 reviews, reflecting a mix of reported experiences rather than a guarantee of what any one patient will encounter.
The available information points to family medicine as a notable part of the clinic’s care, and reviews also refer to lab visits and tele-visits. These references may help prospective patients understand the kinds of appointments people have discussed, but they do not establish the full list of services, accepted insurance plans, appointment availability, or care for specific conditions. Contact the clinic for current details about services, scheduling, and what to bring to an appointment. You can also ask how and when results are communicated if follow-up is important to you.
For people living or working near SW Millikan Way, The Portland Clinic-Beaverton offers a weekday medical-clinic location in Beaverton. The patient comments suggest that some people particularly value providers who listen, explain options, and treat visits as a conversation; other reviewers describe frustrations with communication or service. Weighing both kinds of feedback can help you decide whether the clinic may fit your needs. Its listed Monday-to-Friday schedule may be convenient for weekday care, while weekend visits are not available according to the posted hours.

Brittany Allen NP is the best provider I have ever found (and I’ve seen MANY throughout the country in MA, CA and OR). She educates, listens and genuinely cares. She also expresses a lot of humility and curiosity unlike most providers I have worked with where I feel talked down to and dismissed. I have made more progress in my health over the years working with her (I followed her to this new office this past year) because it feels like a collaboration to bettering my health, and I’ve had a lot of severe health issues. So relieved and grateful for her.
I always have a great experience at Portland Clinic Beaverton, Family Medicine Dept. Dr Chandran is very kind and understands my needs. She doesn't rush and takes the time needed. I feel very lucky to have her as my Dr! From the desk staff, to the med assistants, to Dr Chandran. You are top notch. Thank you!
On my 2nd visit to the clinic, I was checking in to access the lab. The receptionist was so impersonal, I was really put-off. As I walked in, the first thing she said was "last name". From that point on, it's all just business. "Birthday", "Were you asked to fast?" "Last time you ate?" "Go sit by the lab lobby." It would have been better to check-in with an AI. At least AI would be program to ask check-in questions with appropriate method. I am not asking for a VIP treatment, but at least with basic respect and interest to the patients who are walking into their facility to receive services they provide. I am not an object that needs to be processed. Please understand that you are dealing with a human being. The person may be having a difficult day, but that's more reason to treat others the way you want to be treated when you are having a dad day.
Dr. Pettit is wonderful and explains everything and is very patient. She does research beyond the tel-visit and calls in the pm hours, real complete doctor. I'm lucky to be in her care, thank you! Joanne
I have decided to seek care from another provider. I have not improved with the treatment I received, and I have not received a response regarding my lab results. It is very disappointing not to hear back from your primary care doctor about your health concerns. This has been very frustrating and has led me to seek care elsewhere.Don’t waste your time here.
