The Salon at The Arboretum

I love this salon! From the front desk staff to management to my stylist to the place itself - top notch ✨️. I absolutely LOVE my stylist - I have been going to Alyss for almost 10 years now. I've had the privilege of being her client as she's grown and evolved into the incredible stylist she is today (I mean, she's always been truly wonderful). I'm one of those who sometimes comes in saying, I'm feeling different but idk what I want (which probably drives stylists nuts!), but she never disappoints and I feel gorgeous every time I visit 💖

Update from a year and a half later: Tanya is still the best stylist there and always makes my hair look and feel amazing! They recently moved and their new space is so pretty! My appointment was with Tanya and she did an amazing job on my hair! I recently moved from Houston and was looking for a colorist who could mix a good golden blonde and not make it brassy or convince me to do a cooler tone. She did exactly what I wanted and spent time explaining the best way to style my fine hair. $140 for full highlights and to me that is a great price for a high quality salon at the domain. Tanya had great conversation and was seriously the sweetest. The other salon at the domain was quoting me $250+. Can’t wait to return!

I have been seeing Laura for at least 5 years. She helped me transition back to my natural hair color after years of dying it. It was a very smooth process. She continues to cut my hair and does a wonderful job. It is always nice to see her and catch up on our lives. I highly recommend her services and the salon is great!

I booked an appointment a month in advance for my daughter for her first and last prom of high school. Having never gone to a prom she was so excited about having her nails and hair done, and then getting pictures! Because we had not done anything before, I fear I waited too long to book, as all our own stylists were already booked! I picked this place because of recent reviews. However, at the very last minute the salon called (not the owners) and told us our appointment was canceled because the stylist got sick! I asked about a back up stylist and she said they were booked! My daughter was devastated when I told her! How does a salon this large not have a backup plan? So I asked to speak to the manager. An “owner” called many hours later. She told us that we had not ever been customers there before so why would we expect a back up stylist for our updo? And we had only made the appointment one month in advance! If you are anticipating having your hair done for important event, you had better be an existing customer. Very highly unrecommended! It is not like we were getting a hair cut that could have been postponed a week! And the “owner”? Super unprofessional! Will post pics of my daughter’s beautiful hair as soon as we can find another salon two days in advance of the prom! Two days! Update: we got her hair done at Shine Salon and Spa! They are super nice and worked us in even though we weren’t their “regular customers “! See pics of their great work below!
