The Untouchables Hair Design

Was visiting Vegas with my sister and we decided to book same-day appointments to get our hair cut. There was only one available spot, so I called about a waitlist and they were kind enough to accommodate both of us! My sister got the one hour appointment with Mary and her haircut was really gorgeous. You can tell it was quality. I got an “express” service with Rhyn since she was squeezing me in. In addition to a trim with light layers, I asked for curtain bangs; which can be tricky on my hair because it’s so straight. She did a quick style after the cut and it looked great. But after being home for a few days now and washing my hair a couple times, I love my haircut even more! I was aiming for a wash-and-go cut and Rhyn nailed it. My curtain bangs have a nice lift at the root without me having to do much more than running a brush through it after a shower. I am so thrilled. We don’t live in Vegas but visit often enough that I plan to make an appointment with her whenever I’m in town.

I went to Rhyn desperate for some help after some highlights gone wrong elsewhere... I'd never colored my hair before and had received product recommendations and advice for post color treatment that was making my hair untouchably brittle and a constant mess of tangles. Not to mention the horrible 'money-piece' that I had begged the previous stylist not to do. I went to the appointment resigned that I might have to lob it off. Rhyn was absolutely amazing and after a couple of minutes conversation while combing through my hair informed me that it was simply extremely dry and that the highlights I hated could be easily corrected with a 10 minute root touch up. She explained every product she used and all the steps she took so I could manage and recreate the effects and style at home. She also emphasized sticking with the basics of quality shampoo & conditioner for hair health instead of all the products the other salon had said I needed. My hair was silky soft and tangle free when she finished and the style lasted four days! The moisturizing repair she did lasted a couple of weeks. Rhyn had suggested a couple shampoos to help with my hydration needs at home and I literally did a happy dance when one finally worked. I'm a wash and wear girl who doesn't even own a hairdryer and had never used anything but a heat protectant hairspray prior to "treating" myself to highlights. I had tried at least 8 other shampoo/conditioners and had bought all of the oils, detanglers, and leave-ins the prior salon said I needed and my hair had just kept getting worse. I was finally able to brush my hair without a detangler for the first time in months! On the second wash my hair felt sleek and healthy while shampooing like it used to and not the Brilo-pad texture I had been struggling with. This girl is absolutely amazing and knows her stuff. I'm not local, but will now make sure I see her every time I visit Vegas.
