Sign in to reviewI received a massage here as a Mother’s Day gift, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The front desk staff made me feel comfortable and at ease right away, and my massage therapist was wonderful. The massage itself felt incredible — relaxing, calming, and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the customer service was excellent from beginning to end. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and truly cared for. I would definitely recommend Villa Spa to anyone looking for a great spa experience. I will definitely be back!
Nice store front. The interior was warm and inviting. They were super busy when I arrived, so I didnt get a massage. The young lady who greated me was very polite. The only weird thing was the dog in the front lobby sitting on the couch with the lady. It was just strange to me. I might try to get an appointment in the future and give them a chance to impress me.
My husband and I were overdue for a couples massage and I really wanted to love this place based on the reviews, but our first time visit fell flat. The place itself is clean and very modern, which is always a plus. I booked a couples massage with my husband the night before and when we arrived, there wasn’t anyone at the front but a middle-aged woman came from the back and asked us if we were the 1:30pm appt and immediately took us to our room to undress. We didn’t fill out any paperwork beforehand and the lady didn’t ask us to either, despite the forms being in the front. So we got undressed and she and a male masseuse got straight to work on my husband and I. Now here’s where our main reason for the two stars is: The male masseuse massaged me and he was ok, but just added constant pressure throughout the massage. He never checked in with me, even when I was tensing up when it became a little painful from the ongoing pressure in some areas. Aside from that, it was fine. However, the lady masseuse who was massaging my husband seemed to be on her phone a good portion of the time during the massage because she had her phone on volume and we kept hearing her type, the “whoosh” sounds from messages being sent, and ping from the messages being received.. She also didn’t check in with my husband throughout his massage and he said it also felt like he was just being applied constant pressure throughout the massage. Nothing felt personalized to us like if they felt a knot somewhere. We left the massage feeling so sore and that lasted a few days after as well. On top of that, the relaxing music started off nice but there was some random songs that at one point it felt like we were marching into battle and another one like we were in a ballroom. That was kind of funny though. A young woman checked us out and she was friendly. There was also a dog in the front on the couch eating carrots, which was fine but it did take us by surprise. The price was great though at $120 after a $10 off promo they had going on.
I visited The Villa Spa in Garland for a 90-minute full body massage, and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve had. Eva took her time, was attentive without me even having to say much, and made the whole experience feel calm and effortless. Her technique, her energy, the way she paid attention to detail everything was just top tier. I walked out feeling lighter, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Eva is truly gifted at what she does.
Just had a massage at Villa Spa. After hosting an event, I hurt my back & have had recurring sciatica pain, so tried Villa Spa & requested Eva based on other reviews knowing I needed deep tissue work. Received a really good, deep massage that worked out most of my kinks, the treatment included massage oil, hot stones, and a hot towel which was all very welcome and added to the experience. The massage had some Thai elements with a little bit of stretching, and a bit of head and face massage, which was unexpected but enjoyed. Draping was minimal, so don't expect full coverage, but I did appreciate the massage of my periformas across my buns! Only real complaint was at the beginning, the person at the front desk kept making comments to Eva, the massage therapist, who responded (with one word responses, but really??) the door was open and conversation continued for about 10 minutes until I asked twice for the door to be closed and for quiet. After that it was fantastic! Other items to know before you go, there is a dog, (well behaved, sits on the sofa at the front), and English is minimal. Also, despite forms to collect info up front, that was bypassed, and I had to indicate where I was in pain and needed deep work with finger pointing at the beginning of the session.
