THH Sandwiches is a well-known sandwich shop in Garden Grove, CA, serving the kind of quick, familiar Vietnamese comfort food that fits easily into a busy day. Located on Brookhurst Street in the heart of Garden Grove, this spot is a practical choice for locals looking for takeout, a casual bite, or an easy stop for classic deli-style items. With daily hours from morning to early evening, and a shorter Sunday schedule, THH Sandwiches works well for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner when you want something straightforward and filling.

Many customers come here for Vietnamese favorites that go beyond a basic sandwich order. Reviews mention solid bánh mì, along with items like chả giò, pâté chaud, congee, bánh bao, and bánh cuốn. One customer specifically highlighted the Bánh cuốn Phan for its generous portion of ground pork, rice noodle, slices of chả lụa, mushroom, shallots, tofu, cucumber, cilantro, and bean sprouts, showing that the menu can offer more than a quick grab-and-go meal. The bánh mì also gets consistent attention for its good size and satisfying bread-and-meat combination, making this Garden Grove shop a convenient option for people craving familiar Vietnamese bakery and deli flavors.

The atmosphere at THH Sandwiches feels more functional than formal, which is often exactly what regulars want from a neighborhood sandwich shop. Customers note the open assembly area, where you can see sandwiches being prepared, adding a sense of freshness and everyday kitchen activity. This is the kind of place that suits takeout orders, quick solo lunches, or picking up food for home rather than lingering over a long meal. Pricing is described as reasonable overall, sitting in that middle ground where it is not the cheapest, but not overpriced either, which may appeal to diners who value convenience and variety.

As with many long-running local spots, customer experiences here are mixed, and that can be useful to know before visiting. While many people return often for takeout and dependable Vietnamese staples, some reviews mention inconsistent experiences with certain items, cleanliness concerns, and payment policies such as a small credit card surcharge and limits on larger bills. For local searchers comparing Vietnamese food in Garden Grove, California, that means THH Sandwiches may be best approached as a casual, everyday stop for bánh mì and ready-to-go comfort dishes, especially if you know what you like. For nearby residents, office workers, and anyone exploring Vietnamese-owned businesses in Orange County, it remains a recognizable neighborhood option with a broad, convenient menu.

A good little place where I can easily grab some delicious food-to-go. I ordered some cha gio and the Bánh cuốn Phan - had a great portion of ground pork, rice noodle, slices of cha lua , mushroom, shallots, a tofu, also topped with sliced cucumber and cilantro, and bean sprouts. I put extra pepper in the nuoc mam for more flavor.

Super solid place to get some banh mi and other items such as pate chau and congee. I like that they have an open area where you can see them assembling the banh mi. The banh mi is of good size, and the bread and meat combo all tastes pretty good.

We order take-out quite often at the THH chain, this location g got the bulk of our orders. Food and pricing are ok, not cheap but not expensive either. Except for the main and original location at Edinger & Euclid, which is almost always clean. This location and others need to keep their floor clean, free of knick-knacks such as receipts, straw wrappers.. etc;

They charged an extra 25 cents for using a credit card and they did not accept $50 and $100 bills. This is very annoying for buyers. The owner of this shop is very bossy.
