If you are vegetarian/vegan/plant-based STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I’ve been vegetarian for my entire life and I have never had meat. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich from this place and it had pork mixed into it!? First of all the texture of the banh mi was weird, too squishy from the mushrooms and wasn’t a good tasting experience. To make matters worse, there was literal meat in the sandwich. So ridiculous do NOT come here if you are a strict vegetarian. Run. The workers didn’t even give a proper apology or anything wow I cannot wrap my head around this

Stopped by to get some bánh mì for the road back to OC. We thought OC prices were going expensive but nope, SJ beats us for sure. Nice clean, small store that share with the coffee shop and they have the special deal coffee & bánh mì for $13. We got that with BA CHỈ Roasted Pork Belly & VNese hot milk café or cà phê sữa nóng. The sandwich is thick filled with a lot of veggies, just couple slices of meat. The bread is good when it hot but if you leave it within 10mins with cold weather it just hard and chewy (just needs to reheat if you are at home or have oven to heat it up for coupe mins). Well combined and tasty, just wish they would added a little bit more of pâté since it was little. Service was good - you do self order but unfortunately, their machine is not working and the couple infront of us had hard time for 5-7mins before realized that it didn't work. The staff behind the counter came over and helped since the line if 3 became 6 and the entrance door opens with cold cold air. Service is nice and friendly, the turnaround took around 7-10mins since I only see 2 fronts staffs and 1 or 2 in back. The place had small seating area in the corner looking through the Main Street or the other side w/ the coffee shop overlooking the parking. Overall, it was okey bánh mì and good service in a cute store.

The bánh mì is good. Lots of cilantro in it. I'm not a cilantro person. But that's just personal preference... I remove some of it, it's perfect. I like this place. Wish the drink was less sweet. Also had a cilantro taste at the end for some reason, didn't like that Pork banh mi: 9.5/10 Winter melon oolong: 7/10
