Sign in to reviewMy name is Kyla London, and I am a former student. While I initially enjoyed the environment and meeting new people, my overall experience was disappointing. I felt singled out and treated unfairly by staff on multiple occasions, often being disciplined for things other students were doing without consequence. I also experienced issues regarding accommodations for my learning disability, which were not properly addressed despite repeated requests. During a difficult personal situation, I felt unsupported and was ultimately removed from the school under circumstances I believe were unjust. While I met many supportive classmates, I cannot recommend this school due to what I experienced as inconsistent treatment, poor communication, lack of accountability from administration, and inadequate support for students with disabilities. I have documentation supporting my concerns. Trying to speak to the owner of the school was impossible because I have tried to reach out multiple times even with suing them. The owner is not gonna take accountability for her employees actions or try to fix any situation. She’s just there to take your money. I end up suing the wrong name, but for anyone in the future that is going to sue school this is the name that you sue “70 Fahrenheit, Inc. d/b/a Tint School of Makeup & Cosmetology”. Everything I am saying is true, and I have proof of everything. I wouldn’t recommend anyone attending this cosmetology school due to the wrong treatment of multiple students even the ones with the disability.
The Students Are Not Only Nice Here But Are Actually Being Taught, At Least The Ones I’ve Experienced. Only thing I didn’t like was my first time I requested someone had an appointment and when I came I had to wait because the student had someone she worked with before come in after me and chose to do her hair while I get having regulars is great but if I was there first and nothing was said when booking ahead of time the student should’ve taken care of me since I was there first and I shouldn’t have had to wait, but it was ok because I met Jackie who ended up doing my silk press and it was legit amazing and 2 other students did my nails was really sweet and catering unfortunately I don’t remember their names but it made me want to come a second time and once again my hair was amazing this time done by Rain & Alex. Ik white people can do black hair but it was my first time having a white girl do my silk press and she was great I’ll definitely keep coming for them. I hope PM students can receive such great education as I want everyone to win, but Tint is setting the standard
Selena, she's done my hair for a while at the school although she is a student you wouldn't even know that, she gives you that undivided attention can't , care and listens to you just so natural she recommends products. Selena is soooo good with her hands when she washes your hair it's to die for she massages your scalp and she always make sure the water temp is perfectly right for me. I love my highlights my retouch she never misses any of my lil friends moving forward she will definitely be missed at school Congratulations and look forward for you to become my hairstylist. Also thank you for being my therapist and girlie advance wish you the best and you got this!!! Ya go and support the school and you won't be disappointed keep in mind that they are students and one needs to start somewhere to be succ in their career
I requested a "shampoo and roller set" via the website. This was my first visit and I was simply impressed! One of the instructors greeted me, signed me in, took my payment (which was only $15!!!!!). My new student cosmetologist, Janie, was professional, polite, thorough and listened to me. She gave me the most amazing message shampoo. She took her time but was efficient. She then roller set my hair to perfection! (She claims it was her first time...but I don't believe her...sorry Janie ). She was directed by one of her instructors and followed her example excellently. The instructors circulate that you feel like they really know what each student is attempting. Thank you Janie! I hope you see this! You're going to be a great cosmetologist! I've already scheduled for my next appointment! I wished I had known about them earlier!
I wouldn’t go here again. I didn’t see an instructor help the student till towards the end of my service. I didn’t like my results I was there from 2p - 6p and this location just seem like it’s all over. The girl I started with was nice but I’ve been to other schools and this one isn’t that strong. The nail part look good so maybe only get your nails done not your hair!
