If you want great quality work done by someone who cares, make sure you stop by Salon Bruce Stuart and get your hair did. (And ask for Cyndi...)
TERRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE! This is one of the worst hair cuts I've ever had! First, I called about the Groupon deal. It was supposed to be $69 for a Designer haircut, single process color, blow dry, and style. I told Bruce I had black hair and wanted purple and blue color and if I could pay a little more for the additional color? He said no problem but when I got there he said that what I wanted would cost me somewhere between $400-$500 and that he couldn't do it. He told me I could just do the purple color but my hair would need to be bleached and it would probably just break off. He also said that it would cost me around $200! Super disappointed but whatever... I decided to go ahead and at least get my hair cut since I was already there and that turned out awful too! Unfortunately, I didn't notice until after I had left that it was LEGIT NO JOKE, 1.5" longer on the left side then it was on the right. On top of all this he didn't give me any Groupon discount as he had promised and charged me an additional $20 for having long hair. I tried calling to ask for a partial refund since I had to pay to get it fixed by someone else and he never called me back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. BTW I ended up going to Gisela's hair salon a block away and she was amazing! Not only did she fix my uneven hair cut but she also did the color I wanted without breaking my hair or my bank account!
Woohoo. Bruce is the best. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth every dollar. I usually left beauty salons unhappy, but Bruce is the only stylist that made me feel beautiful.
