Tony's Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 5823 Woodland Ave #25 in Philadelphia, PA 19143. The shop handles a range of repair needs reflected in customer experiences, including diagnostic work, fuel-injector troubleshooting, and repairs after minor accidents. One customer described bringing in a Honda Accord after a collision and said Tony and his crew completed the work within a few days. Another praised the result of a minor-accident repair, noting that the finished vehicle no longer showed obvious signs of the incident. These accounts offer useful context for drivers looking for help with a specific vehicle problem or collision-related work.

Customers mention fair or good pricing alongside positive comments about the quality of completed repairs. One reviewer said the price made it possible to handle an accident repair without going through insurance, while another described receiving a good price for good work. A separate account says the shop performed diagnostics and identified a bad fuel injector after the customer reported that the car was not running well. Experiences are not uniformly positive: a reviewer felt the cost was too high and described an unsatisfactory interaction and follow-up concern about air conditioning. As with any repair shop, it can help to discuss the diagnosis, expected cost, work scope, and next steps before authorizing repairs.

Tony's Auto Repair may suit local drivers seeking diagnostic assistance, mechanical repairs, or work after a minor accident, particularly those who value hearing about pricing and repair plans directly. Reviews also describe the business as busy and report that some repairs take longer than expected; one customer said vehicles often need to stay overnight. That makes it sensible to ask how long a particular job may take and whether the vehicle will need to remain at the shop. If timing or transportation matters, confirm the expected schedule before dropping off your car. The customer feedback is mixed overall, so individual experiences may differ depending on the vehicle and repair.

The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. Its Woodland Avenue address places it in Philadelphia's 19143 ZIP code, providing a local option for drivers in the area. Before visiting, contact the shop to confirm availability, discuss the symptoms or collision damage, and ask which services are appropriate for your vehicle. For a more informed decision, request an estimate and clarify whether diagnostic fees, parts, or additional repairs could affect the final price. Checking the anticipated turnaround time is also worthwhile, given customer comments that some jobs require an overnight stay or may take longer.

Tony and his crew did a great job on my husband and I new Honda accord that I drove into a pole. He completed the job within just a few days. Also, he charged a great price for us to not go through insurance. I highly recommend him.

Good price and good work completed. Repairs take a very long time. Almost everything requires your car to be left over night. This shop is very busy due to the quality service and fair pricing.

They did their diagnostics and found the issue. In my case it was a bad fuel injector. My car was running kind of sluggishly but I didn't tell them that because I wanted to see if they could find the issue themselves. I simply said that the car isn't running great and thought it might be the grade of gas I was using but they found the issue and fixed it over night by replying the fuel injector. The car runs terrific now. I can tell the difference and it's a great improvement. They are fast and efficient and cleaned the car as well.

My car was in a minor accident and I went to Tony's for a repair job. The repair turned out really well! You would never be able to tell I was in an accident! Much appreciated to the store owner for the fix

Too expensive and the owner (Asian Tony) is very rude. Not sure if that’s because I’m a woman or not. I took my vehicle there only because I broke down across the street. I need an air compressor among other things. Now the weather is getting warmer and I find I have no air. This is March so I go back and he tells me “I don’t buy Freon until April come back” This is my fault though but because I was under so much stress dealing with the loss of my daughter I didn’t think to ask him about this after my car was ‘repaired’ I was able to drive it and that’s all I cared about at the time. Also I forgot to get an itemized receipt of the repairs. I had the date and amount paid on my CashApp. I stopped in to get that and was told he was too busy to write it up and I’d need to come back some other time during the week. Mind you I work day hours as well. Anyways much of this is in me. Points to consider. Hind sight is always 20/20.
