Torres & Torres Auto Repair

Torres & Torres Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 1919 N 2nd St in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For drivers looking for a neighborhood place to discuss a car problem or arrange a repair, the shop offers weekday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; it is closed Sunday. Its listed 4.6-star rating from 90 reviews reflects many positive customer experiences, while individual reviews also describe concerns, so it can be helpful to speak directly with the shop about your needs and expectations before authorizing work.

Customer feedback points to brake and rotor work as one example of the repairs customers have brought in. One reviewer said the shop replaced their brakes and rotors on a Saturday morning, describing the price as reasonable and the work as good. Other reviewers praise the team as knowledgeable and say they have returned because they felt comfortable trusting the shop with their vehicles. These comments offer a practical picture of the experience: customers have valued approachable service and fair pricing, especially when they felt their concerns were heard.

Several reviews specifically mention Andy, described by customers as a manager, and Justin, identified in one review as a mechanic. Positive comments characterize Andy as honest, reliable, and willing to work with customers, and describe Justin as helpful. That kind of personal interaction can matter when you need to explain a symptom, understand a repair recommendation, or ask about the next steps. At the same time, feedback is not uniformly positive: some reviewers report frustration with communication, delays involving a part, or concerns that a repair did not fully resolve the problem. Experiences can differ, so asking about timing, parts, charges, and what the proposed work covers may help set clear expectations.

Torres & Torres Auto Repair may suit Philadelphia drivers who value a local repair shop, Saturday availability, and the chance to discuss a job with the people handling it. The reviews provide a specific reference for brake and rotor service, but do not establish a complete list of services, so contact the shop to confirm whether it can handle your vehicle and repair needs. Before a visit, note the symptoms you have noticed and ask for an explanation of the recommended work and estimated cost. For a weekday appointment, keep the 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule in mind; on Saturday, the shop closes at 1:00 p.m. Clear communication on both sides can help you decide whether this Philadelphia auto repair shop is the right fit.
