U.S. Tours AND VACATIONS is a travel agency located in Oakland, California, serving travelers from its address at 619 E 12th St in the East Bay. For people planning a trip to Vietnam or arranging travel connected with family overseas, the agency is a local place to ask questions and work through the details in person. Situated in Oakland, it provides an option close to home for travelers who prefer a conversation with someone familiar with Vietnam-related itineraries instead of trying to sort through every step alone. Customer feedback repeatedly points to Mr. Thanh as a kind, dependable, honest, and straightforward source of assistance, especially when travel needs feel urgent or unfamiliar. The tone in these accounts is reassuring and practical.

Reviews describe help with flight booking and travel paperwork for Vietnam, including the changing documentation that travelers encountered during the pandemic. One customer facing a family emergency said Mr. Thanh went beyond simply reserving a flight, taking time to answer questions and help secure travel as quickly as possible. Another review valued the careful, thorough process and the practical knowledge shared along the way. This guidance can be particularly useful when airline requirements, testing, vaccination records, or other travel documents create uncertainty. Because requirements change, travelers should confirm the current documents and services needed for their own trip. The reviews focus on attentiveness and clear answers rather than broad promises, an important distinction for international travel plans where details matter.

The agency may be a fitting choice for Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American households coordinating a family visit, a first-time international traveler, or a time-sensitive journey between the Bay Area and Vietnam. In one review, a customer appreciated a reasonable package for an older relative making a first trip to the United States alone; the traveler reached SFO despite not speaking English. Experiences like this reflect a patient, people-centered approach rather than an impersonal transaction. It may also suit travelers who value taking time to ask questions about a trip before moving forward. The shared experiences suggest a supportive, conversational atmosphere. The office's 4.3-star Google rating from 20 reviews offers additional local context, while individual needs and outcomes can vary.

Visit U.S. Tours AND VACATIONS at 619 E 12th St, Oakland, CA 94606 during its weekday office hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday. For a travel plan involving a specific airline, Vietnam-related paperwork, or a time-sensitive itinerary, it is wise to confirm current requirements and what assistance is available before you go. Bringing passport details, travel dates, and any paperwork already received can make the conversation more focused. Calling ahead can help ensure staff availability, particularly for a detailed consultation. As a local travel agency in Oakland, the business provides a starting point for travelers seeking attentive, Vietnam-focused guidance and a clearer path through their arrangements.

Do you want to travel to Viet Nam?!. Let’s go to Mr. Thanh USTOUR!! He was helping me a lot with my paperwork for travel last month, and I find out that was a good choice, because a lot off people I saw on the trip they was so confused with the Covid test and vaccination paper document …! I am glad that I came to USTOUR for my ticket. Thanks Mr. Thanh !!! (At first I bought CheapTickets online myself and in the last minutes they cancel my trip twice!!!)

This travel agency isn't like any other places that just takes your money and leave you wondering. Mr.Thanh was very through and diligence thru the whole process, especially during this pandemic times. He was very knowledgeable to the point where even the clerks at the air port didn't even know and was about the policy changes and necessary paper work needed to travel. Highly recommended will for sure to return for future travel plans. Thank you Mr.Thanh for making my trip so much less stressful. I really appreciate it.

On Google it says there is 2 locations, I assure you this is the only one but they just have multiple numbers. I called several times the day prior to coming here and they aren't keen to picking up. I came here to specifically do a 5 year visa for Vietnam. The lady helping me kept insisting I have it attached to my passport and every single time I told her no (3 times). When it came to paying they ONLY accepted cash. Now the reason for the 1 star is because everywhere charges $70 (US tours in San Jose and the consulate). They wanted $80. When I asked why, Mr. Thanh told me that's how much it is for the paperwork and it's been $80 for "the longest time." I told him I called US tours in San Jose a week ago and they said it was $70. He kept saying it's been $80 for the LONGEST time and even pointed out that everything went up in price like a bowl of pho. I told Mr. Thanh that paperwork and a bowl of pho are two separate things, and when asked how long ago did the price go up since I just called San Jose, and he was unable to tell me. He just diverted and said "it's been more for the longest time and a bowl of pho is expensive now" while looking down and away from me... I don't respect being lied to and I don't respect being ripped off. If you're hungry and you want a bowl of pho just ask, don't make these rude and irrelevant remarks. Save yourself the headache, old school mannerism, and your money and get it done somewhere else. I do not support shady people or a shady business mentality where you can't even look at me as you lie and tell yourself I was born yesterday. My interaction with Mr. Thanh and his wife were all in Vietnamese, so this wasn't a language barrier or miscommunication.

Uncle Thanh was very helpful and friendly with a reasonable price package for an old and first time person coming to the US. My Mom arrived in SFO on 9/11 by herself without any issues even though she didn't speak a word in English. Thank you so much.
