The customer feedback provided reflects different experiences. One reviewer described a primary care provider as sincere and caring, while other reviewers raised concerns about appointment access, communication, referral follow-through, and coordination. One account describes difficulty reaching the clinic by phone; another reports being asked to reschedule after arriving late for an appointment. These are individual reports rather than a guarantee of what every patient will experience, but they are worth considering when planning care. Hours and appointment availability can change, so confirm them directly before traveling. If your care involves a referral, test follow-up, or specialist visit, consider asking who will handle the next step and when you should expect an update. Keeping your referral details and questions together may also help make conversations clearer.

UNLV Health may be relevant to Las Vegas residents seeking a clinic location or following an insurance or community-care referral, including people looking for a primary care provider. Before choosing a provider, confirm that the clinic can address your specific concern, verify coverage with both the clinic and your insurer, and ask about appointment timing and follow-up procedures. The available reviews suggest that communication and coordination are important topics to clarify in advance. This description is based only on the supplied business information and customer comments; it is not a medical recommendation. I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff named Yessenia. I was only a minute late to 15 mins grace period of my appointment, and instead of trying to accommodate me, I was immediately told I needed to reschedule almost a month out. The frustrating part is that patients are often left waiting 30–45 minutes in the exam room for the doctor, yet there was no flexibility for being one minute late. I politely asked if another provider was available since I was already there, but I was told they were completely booked. At that point, I said I would look for another provider instead. The receptionist's attitude was rude and lacked any understanding or customer service. I understand offices have policies, but treating patients with kindness and consistency goes a long way

The PCP I was assigned to seemed sincere and caring but that's where the professional care stops.I made requests for referrals needed, he said it'll take 5 to 7 business days. It is going on a month. When I did a follow up on some tests he had me do. He went to talk to the referral staff, I was told they would call later that day. They did, however, no further action has happened. I have made several attempts to contact the referral person I talked to this date no contact and no return call has been received. As of now I'm going to look into another PCP and unfortunately have to start all over again. To say I'm upset and disappointed is putting it mildly. If your insurance assigns UNLV Health PCP seek another assignment asap it's not worth the headaches I've gone through.

I was referred here by my insurance. I have attempted to make an appointment four times and sit on hold for hours. So, while on hold after 18 minutes, I decided to read the reviews. Thank you all that shared your experiences. I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my medical health. Time to hang up on this facility!

My experience with UNLV Health has been extremely frustrating due to poor communication and lack of coordination. I had to wait six weeks just to be seen, and was finally evaluated by a hand specialist on 02/25/2026 through a VA Community Care referral. At that appointment, I was told I need hand surgery and that it would be requested. However, during that same visit, I was informed that my medical records were not available, yet the appointment still proceeded. Weeks later, I was again told that records had not been received, which prevented scheduling. This issue was never resolved or clearly communicated back to me. After more than 2 months of waiting, I contacted the VA directly on April 16, 2026, and was informed that I am fully approved for hand surgery on both hands, along with additional care for pain management. When I contacted UNLV Health again, I was told: I am not approved I need to complete an EMG test again I would essentially need to restart the process This makes no sense. I was referred by a neurologist, evaluated by a hand specialist, and approved through VA Community Care yet I am being sent backwards due to internal communication failures. I have been dealing with ongoing pain, numbness, and nerve-related symptoms for over 25 years, and now that I am finally at the point of receiving surgical treatment, I am facing unnecessary delays and confusion. I have now spent over 2.5 months in this process, on top of the initial wait to be seen, with worsening symptoms and no progress toward treatment. Patients should not have to manage communication between providers or track down their own records and approvals. This delay has directly impacted my health and quality of life. At this point, I will be seeking care elsewhere.
