Uwajimaya tends to be on the pricier end for Asian groceries, but they do have a really great variety of meats for grilling! I also do think that certain frozen products and pantry staples may be cheaper than other groceries. I do enjoy the poke station as you can get a pretty good deal, but sometimes that may be unattended so I feel discouraged for waiting more than 5 minutes for poke if I’m not craving it.

Great experience shopping. The products in this store are high in quality, well designed and uniquely imported from other countries. A friend suggested me this place and I surely can find many products that I couldn’t find else where in Washington. The unique part of the store that I haven’t seen elsewhere in the world is that there is a designated spot for chef knives. Price can be better.

I believe employees should receive periodic training on customer service, professionalism, and how to interact respectfully with all types of customers. When working face-to-face with the public, employees should remain professional, respectful, and nonjudgmental at all times. As a customer who had never visited this store before, I was simply enjoying walking around and looking at all the amazing things the store has to offer. Unfortunately, my experience quickly changed, and I left feeling uncomfortable, violated, and as though I wasn’t even being treated with basic human decency. What is especially concerning is that employees were taking pictures of me without my knowledge or permission. I find this completely unacceptable and highly inappropriate. No customer should have to feel watched, judged, or targeted while simply shopping in a store. I hope management takes this experience seriously and considers additional customer service training for employees. Customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and safe—not judged or humiliated.

So rad! There are so many different items that you can't find at the regular grocery store. I really wish I would have taken more pictures to share! Totally go and check it out! You can definitely go through and find some good deals, but the tariffs..... Have wavered such good deals throughout the store. (One day maybe T will grow a clue.)
