If you are planning a visit, calling ahead to confirm current pricing and availability is a practical way to prepare.

Customer experiences describe a range of visits, including oil changes, smog checks, tire rotations, and minor repairs. One customer reported an oil change that was both fast and efficient, and appreciated the affordable price and welcoming staff. Another described a smog test for a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, noting that the vehicle passed and that the advertised $9.95 price matched the final total; that review also mentioned a tire rotation included with the service. These accounts give prospective customers concrete examples of the work people have sought at the shop, though prices and promotions may change.

A recurring positive theme is the staff’s friendly, approachable manner. Some reviewers say they felt treated like family and appreciated being shown what was happening with their vehicle rather than simply being told that repairs were needed. For drivers new to Las Vegas, or anyone trying to find a mechanic they feel comfortable asking questions, that kind of clear explanation can make a service visit less stressful. Several repeat customers also describe returning for additional oil changes or minor issues after earlier visits.

Reviews are not uniformly positive, and one customer reported a serious problem after a repair, saying the vehicle had to be towed away because work was incomplete. That account is important context for anyone comparing auto repair shops. As with any mechanic, consider describing the concern clearly, asking what work is recommended and why, and confirming the expected scope before authorizing repairs. V&V Automotive’s reviews reflect both customers who value its affordability and friendly service and a customer who had a significant negative experience. Weighing that range can help Las Vegas drivers decide whether the shop fits their needs.
