All new patients please note that this practice provides estimates of coverage so you may owe more than what they quote you. To avoid this headache, request that they send a prior authorization to your insurance company so that they will know exactly how much the insurance will cover at time of treatment. Had the office staff told me that a PA was an option I would have requested one at time of scheduling. I had preventative care done earlier this year and they stated it would be covered but then I received notice that I owed $56, I recently had treatment and paid $95 and now my insurance says I owe $108 but the provider can not confirm or deny the amount for an estimate of a few weeks. This may not bother many people, but again I advise that you request the prior authorization so you don’t have to deal with the headache of a back and forth with the office/your insurance.

I chose Valley Ranch Family Dentistry because it presents itself as family dental practice. When patients choose a family practice, they expect to be treated with courtesy, patience, and professionalism. Earlier that week, a staff member called and asked if I could change my appointment time because the dentist had a training scheduled during my original noon appointment. I happily agreed and adjusted my schedule to accommodate the office. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The interaction with the front desk staff, Destiny, was dismissive and unnecessarily rude when discussing my insurance and copay. I remained calm and respectful, but I did not feel that same courtesy was extended to me. When I checked in at the front desk, Destiny, informed me that I would need to pay a $50 fee and my co pay. During that call earlier in the week, I was not informed that there could be a $50 fee for adjusting my night guard if that was determined to be necessary. While speaking with Destiny, I explained that I had left my HSA card at home and that I was not aware there would be a fee associated with the visit to inspect my night guard. I also clarified that I do have dental insurance and an HSA cared but not with me. Instead of helping the situation, Destiny responded by telling me that "I needed to get new insurance, " which was both inaccurate and unprofessional. I attempted to remain calm and even offered my debit card to pay the co-pay. When I later spoke with the dentist, I did not feel the staff's conduct was addressed. The staff's behavior wasn't taken seriously. In a family oriented practice, patients should feel supported and respected, especially when raising concerns about how they were treated. Professionalism from front office staff is important because they represent the practice and set the tone for the patient experience. I also did not find the dentist’s bedside manner to be particularly personable or inviting. After this experience, I feel comfortable taking my dental care to another practice. I hope the practice takes the time to address how patients are treated at the front desk.

So nice! I picked this dentist due to a coworker recommended them. All the front desk workers and back workers and dentist were all so amazing! Not very often does that happen! Can’t wait till I go back next time!!!

Dr. Khambaty is fabulous. I had a wisdom tooth extraction and it went so smoothly. I was well informed and I am hoping a smooth recovery. All team members are very kind and efficient. I recommend Valley Ranch Family Dentistry to all for best dental care and support.

Really friendly staff and the dentist Dr. Khambaty made me feel very comfortable and at ease as I am very nervous when it comes to dentist visits. They also provided me with a treatment plan and gave me a good idea about everything that was there and needed to be done.
