The kid helping was nice. -oil change was $100 for labor only, I provided the oil and filter -staff could not and did not have the tools to reset the maintenance light -oil drain plug was improperly put back, so within a week I started seeing leaks on my driveway all over the place. -took it to another mechanic by my house and they charged me 20 bucks to identify the problem and replace the plug -I brought in 11 quarts of oil (my car takes 8), and they never returned the extra when I picked the car up. I even asked him about it and they said they still have it in the back … Could have been a catastrophic failure…pic of one of the leaks.
Quick oil change, I did together with engine air filter replacement in 20 mins. The price is very affordable. Jason is good customer service too.
I have auto problems like anyone else. I used to do my own repairs but age is catching up to me and needed to find a repair place I could trust. Well, I have found a place called Viet Auto Service in Garden Grove and I want to share with anyone looking to have their car repaired for a fair price and the work is guaranteed. You can trust this place with your car and the fair and reasonable price. I have had water pump and power steering pump replaced and some other repairs that I can't remember at the moment.
I brought my car to Viet Auto Mechanic Shop and worked with Dilmar/Adrien(the short guy who wears a hat with curly hair)Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The mechanical work was not done properly the same issue came back shortly after the repair, and I later had to visit another mechanic to have it corrected. Communication throughout the process was minimal, and I didn't receive clear explanations about what was done or why the problem persisted. As a customer, I value skilled workmanship and honest communication, but neither met the standard I expected here. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this shop for mechanical repairs until there's more consistency in quality and customer care. I do not know why this shop has great reviews when one of the Mechanics lacks skills.
