Sign in to reviewWe were here to compare the eggrolls with Vinh Binh. I called ahead asking if they took cash the person told me they were able to accept zelle and cash payments. I arrived and ordered 6 eggrolls. They then informed me that they only accept Zelle for orders $10 and over so I increased my order to 14 eggrolls. The service was not very friendly especially when I asked in person to pay via Zelle. The eggrolls seem to have more cabbage than Vinh Binh and a lot of pepper. The filling is also more coarse (for lack of a better word.)
Sweetest owners and the best eggrolls! I usually go to another place on Belknap for eggrolls before I knew Viet Tofu was there. My usual place is closed on Wednesdays, and my son asked for some for a school theatre potluck. I went on Tuesday to make sure I could order ahead for pickup the next day, and bought a few from the ready to eat case to try. They are soooo good. My order was ready on time (I ended up buying more from the ready to eat case again) and my daughter got a few little sweet things that were delicious as well. The eggrolls are a hit with my son's theatre class and I can't wait to try more of what Viet Tofu has to offer.
I just had the BEST fried egg rolls and Nuac mam I’ve ever had in my entire life. Quality of food was incredible, hot, crispy, a lot of vegan options as well as shrimp, pork etc. they even have Vietnamese chicken tamales. Spring rolls are fire, sesame balls are delicious. This restaurant is a little out of the way from where I live but it’s my NEW FAVE Vietnamese restaurant. You must give it a try I’m in love!!!
Watch out for "Cash Only Stores" It's just long overdue, someone needs to speak up about shady places like these. and there is no price label on the food trays, go figure... …
I went in there for breakfast and I got about 3 items ( and one of the item was spoiled/bad when i opened it later, it was from the day before or somethibg), then I see they have eggrolls and I told the lady there I want to buy one to try it out, plus I have way too much food for breakfast. She stared at me with a lot of attitude like I called her a bad name or something. I asked her what's thr problem and she said that its weird to just bag one eggroll. Then I told her if that's a problem then don't sell it and she didn't say anything after that. And im so glad I only bought one cuz the eggrolls were average. Go to vinh binh, eggrolls there are much better. Overall, food was not that good and they sell food from left overs from days before. On top of that, the service was terrible
