Reviews commonly highlight caregivers who approach clients with kindness, dignity, and respect. Families describe feeling reassured by attentive care and by the personal connections caregivers build with the people they support. One reviewer praised the compassion shown to their mother, while another expressed gratitude for the thoughtful care Virginia received. These comments point to an experience in which how someone is treated matters alongside the practical help they receive. For families comparing home health care services in Wheat Ridge, that emphasis on respect and human connection may be important.
The feedback also gives a sense of the situations families bring to the team. Reviewers describe arranging support after a hospital stay and seeking help for relatives whose needs are changing, including a family member receiving hospice care. A customer shared that a care coordinator accommodated an intake meeting at the hospital, and another said the team adjusted when a brother’s discharge was delayed after complications. These individual accounts do not define every service or guarantee a particular arrangement, but they show why clear communication and flexibility can matter when a family is coordinating care. Ask the agency directly about your loved one’s needs, timing, and available support.
Caregivers are also remembered for their company and personalities, not just their care skills. One reviewer appreciated conversations about life experiences and a caregiver’s sense of humor, while other families named caregivers who made a meaningful difference through consistent kindness. This may make Visiting Angels Senior Home Care Denver worth considering for families who value a warm, respectful presence as they explore home care options in Wheat Ridge and the Denver area. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the caregivers who have been taking care of my mother Jennifer K., Angela S., and recently Laura. From day one, they have treated her with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and loving hands. They are always punctual, attentive, and incredibly patient. Beyond helping with her daily needs, they truly take the time to engage with her - they listen to her stories, play cards, read the newspaper, listen to music, go for walks and do exercises. They make her feel valued and comfortable. It’s clear that caregiving is not just a job for them — it’s a calling. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication have made such a positive difference in my mother’s life. We are beyond grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend Visiting Angels to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one. ❤️
I’ve just started with Visiting Angels about a week ago and already, they’ve gone beyond my expectations. I’m grateful to Meredith who accommodated my schedule to meet me at the hospital for an intake and got me right in. She really went above and beyond for us. My family member is on hospice and all of the care givers have been knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I was nervous as I’ve never used this kind of service before, but I don’t have any doubts now. I want to shout out two care givers in particular. Laura was very perceptive and noticed physical changes in my family member that I hadn’t picked up on and encouraged me to call the hospice team, which was the best move to make. It was SO helpful to have her watchful and trained eye there. Another special shout out is Miranda whose personality is a perfect fit for my dad/me and is so excited to support and help in any way. Everyone we’ve interacted with at Visiting Angels truly has had a heart of gold. Thank you to the team as you support me/us through this massive life event and transition. Many thanks.
We are so grateful for the wonderful care Virginia receives from Visiting Angels. Monique, Carroll, and Tina always treated her with such kindness, compassion, and respect. They truly care about her, and it shows in everything they do. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in Virginia's life. We appreciate you more than words can express.
I procured services from visiting angels in this location to care for my brother after surgery. My brother got out the of the hopsital 2 days later than planned due to complications. Called the care coodinator as as soon as I found out and she told me this happens all the time and that they would start billing me on the day they discharged him. The care coordinator also shared that the assigned care taker would be calling my brother in the morning to plan out the details, and would call me if my brother did not respond. Upon not receiving a call from Visiting Angels, I called them and the care coordinator shared the following: 1/care takers do call clients, 2/clients need to call the office, since we do not call clients, 3/you will be billed the 21 hours that were planned for your brother during the additional days he stayed at the hospital. I of course disputed the bill. They called me the next day to share that they recognize their care coordinator made the mistakes pointed out, but that their contract says they should charge me the hours. I killed the contract immediately. This is a business run by crooks with no empathy for extraneous circumstances that cannot be controlled. They will hide behind what they can without any care in the world to charge you. I would highly recommend you not ever use Visiting Angels.
Lisa Paris obviously enjoys taking care of others. I enjoy her company, especially our conversations about past experiences and life in general. She of course, has demonstrated a sound knowledge of senior care skills. I must add a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
