Services could get busy as they are popular. Just call ahead to ask or avoid Mondays/Fridays. There’s a restroom if needs to wait on-site. Walking distance to Starbucks and Panera bread. Many friends return to their services as they are honest, flexible and direct. Good team!!
Had my 2008 sienna checked for twice, suspensions and brakes, at Jimmy’s shop without being charged and urged for any unnecessary services. They are very friendly and honest. To me, Vtec is a reliable auto repair shop.

My families and friends takes our cars to this automotive shop for over 15+ yrs. They are great, reliable, friendly, and cheaper than other Japanese repair shops. I read those reviews that gave them 1*, and I believe they gave the reviews to the wrong shop. There is another shop also named Vtech Automotive in Lake Forest. The one in Irvine only repair Japanese cars and not Benz.
The best auto shop I like so far. Every time when I went to a tire shop to change the tires, they would tell me something was wrong and give me some list of very expensive components I need to replace. What I did was just to drive my car to this shop and ask them for advice. They are very reasonable and honest about the problem and recommend components that are only necessary to change. The price is usually half of what the other shop I went to and you know exactly what you gonna to get
