our experience was fairly average. the portions were huge, and while the food was satisfying, I wouldn’t say it felt particularly authentic. still, it’s good enough to satisfy japanese cravings, though the prices are on the higher side. as a vegetarian, the menu options were quite limited. I ended up ordering the roti canai, which felt a little out of place at a restaurant known for japanese cuisine. the flavor was not quite what i expected. the edamame was fine, simple and straightforward. the others ordered ramen, which they found filling and comforting. I think the restaurant’s prime location and well-managed service are what make it stand out as a convenient japanese dining option. however, if i were willing to go out of my way, I would probably choose a smaller and more local spot for a more authentic experience.
