We truly enjoyed our meal here. The liangpi was the best I’ve ever had - wonderful raw garlic notes and not too mustardy. The other dishes we ordered were all cooked to perfection and the serving size is very reasonable for the price. Service was very kind and helpful - only thing that can be improved which others have mentioned is that the food took quite a while to come out. Will definitely come back, and when we do we wanna try the sweet and sour pork which almost everyone else had ordered!

Super busy at lunch time over the weekend. For dinner on a random Saturday we went, all tables were seated by 5:30pm. Food comes in large portions; many tables can seat six.

We stopped by over the weekend and were seated quickly upon arrival. However, by the time we left, the place was packed—so it definitely fills up fast on weekends. The food took a bit of time to come out, even though it wasn't busy when we first arrived. Still, the wait wasn't too long. Service was just okay. It took a few minutes before we were given menus, which was a bit of a delay. We ordered the four meatball dish, green beans, traditional sweet and sour pork, and Shanghai dumplings. The meatballs were surprisingly tender and the sauce was flavorful. The green beans were decent but nothing special. The sweet and sour pork had thin slices of pork, but the batter was heavy and the texture a bit chewy. The Shanghai dumplings were average—the filling was fine, but the skin was a little too doughy. Overall, I'd give this place 3 stars.

It says it close at 2:30pm, when we got there it’s 1:58pm, and there were tables available. The female front desk told us that we can sit down but both male waiters said no they are about to close so they don’t take new customers anymore and ask us to come back at 4:30. I thought 2:30 means 2:30 not 1:58 🙄. I guess the waiters just want to take their break early.
