Peaceful Thai Temple. It is a very exquisite place. The main building is a traditional one as in Thailand. There are four sides of the tall gable roof. It’s decorated with multi color stained glass which creates glittering and shiny when the light hits on. A beautiful and calm golden Buddha image is on the center of the shrine in side. It makes the surrounding atmosphere peaceful.

A monk at the temple said to us to "treat the Temple like a public library, we are here for the community". In the Thai traditions, Temples are a place for the community and a peaceful sanctuary, not simply just a place of worship. You do not need to be religious, Buddhist, or Thai to enjoy the serenity and beauty of this place. The Temple grounds are very well kept, verdant, and peaceful. The main hall is a place for contemplation, meditation, occasional sermons, and Buddhist merit-sharing rituals. The monks are kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They currently offer Saturday meditation workshops in the afternoon, open and free to everyone. It is worth calling ahead to ensure there isn't a special event going on that requires the workshop to be rescheduled.

If you are looking for mediation and spirituality in the presence of monks, look no further than Watbuddhanusorn. I highly recommend trying a Saturday Meditation Session here. It’s a truly enriching experience. The session, held from 5:00-6:30 PM, provides a peaceful and welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced meditators. The atmosphere is serene, and the guidance from the monks is insightful and supportive. However, I recommend calling ahead to check the schedule, as there may be changes or other events. The temple staff is very helpful and can provide the most up-to-date information. With metta, Ameya
