Been coming here for about 8 months. Valerie is great her individuals are so neat. I love how she does the baby hair. N put product on so you walk out feeling and looking great. Thank you Valerie

Parts are different sizes and the braids as well. I paid $220 and they were supposed to be medium. When contacted she denied the fact that my braids were different sizes and actually stated that they were smedium. After sending these pics no reply and has not answered my phone call since sending these pics pics.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: I liked my hair when Valerie was finished and that consisted of six or seven cornrows which were braided neatly and also parted neatly and straight !Although I will say the braiding was too tight, and I ended up getting those little bumps along the edges of my hair and the nape of my neck from the hair being braided too tight!😖 She is a very sweet and soft-spoken woman which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. I also felt like the price that I paid for the service was worth it!🙂 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. I feel like she is a bit unprofessional when it comes to communication w/ clients(orrrr maybe just me)! On her website, it states that in order to contact her to do so at the listed phone number that she has on the website. When I first made my appointment it was via the StyleSeat app so I messaged her through that app and asked her some questions about coming in for my first time. I never got a response! I messaged her via Instagram as well and didn’t get a response there. I reached out to the number that she has listed on her profile and didn’t get a response for about 4-5 days and that was AFTER I contacted her telling her that I was going to be canceling my appointment because I felt she was being unprofessional, and I felt like my service request was being ignored! She apologized and offered me a discount and requested that I still come in so against my better judgment, I did so! As I stated I liked the way that she did my hair and I decided to let bygones be bygones and Was even going to return to her a second time to get my hair done. But unfortunately, I got the same reaction that I got the first time around with trying to reach out to her to set an appointment and getting no response BEYOND 24 hours! I had to reach back out a second time; and she finally responded asking me if I could come in at a different time other than what I have requested… so I proceeded to ask her OK what time? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱!! 🙄 Soooo ATP Im lead to believe that she doesn’t want my business or has better things to do because why list your phone number as the best way to contact you; and then when a client reaches out to you with questions/concerns/trying to book an appointment you don’t ever respond?!?🤔 It’s not a good look In my opinion, and honestly not to make it sound about race or anything, but I feel like im being overlooked/ignored because I’m American and she is African/Nigerian! But again 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗝𝗠𝗢!🤷🏽‍♀️ Unfortunately, yet, obviously, I will not be returning to her to receive any kind of service! I had even recommended her to my brother and brother-in-law because they were also looking to get their hair braided; but now I will suggest for them to find someone else that WILL communicate better and return their phone calls/texts!

They always do a good job with my hair and I have experienced good growth over time . Valerie and her team are indeed gifted!

Mrs.Valerie have been doing my hair for a long time now and I have never had any issues with my hair. I can not even feel her braiding whenever she does my hair, and it always turns out neat and tight enough. Her assistants are also professionals and braids well. I love their services and they really care about their clients.
