Whip X Banh Mi

Was having a high hope but ended up disappointed. This place looks nice from the outside but once you get into…it needs a clean up (daily). The couch is messy and dirty and the table needs to a whip and the plant needs to water. The counter inside also needs good clean up to. Nice decor and very spacious space with varies seating style. Free WiFi, easy menu and easy order with nice & friendly guy whom work there. There are only a woman and him there when I went and there is a customer ahead of me and she ordered than me…the wait began. It took an about 20mins plus for my order of a bbq pork and sugarcane juice. The juice is fine, fresh - nothing special about it and the label for the bread is grilled chicken. But it’s pork inside alright, not bbq pork, it’s more of stirred fried pork over a pan is more likely. The bread is disappointing, not crunchy just dense and…simply disappointed. Great veggies & pickles and generous portion of meats through - just wrong kind of it. The seasoning of the pork is okey, abit more of fish sauce…so yea. $11 for banh mi is high with WAY below standards both in meat & bread. $7.50 for sugarcane is okey but got 1/2 off when ordered w/ bread so $3.75 for it…overall, not worth of $17 for both.

Whenever I travel anywhere near this place, I will make an effort to visit. Their coffees and banh mi sandwiches are so good. The last time I was there I tried the tiramisu coffee and the lemongrass beef banh mi. The sandwich is MASSIVE. I even took a coconut coffee to go. So delicious!!

A little cafe next to Rodeo 39 that has real sugarcane drink, banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. The decor was very cute and they have a real 2-person swing inside. The sugarcane drink was very fresh. Coffee was nice. I think the rodeo banh mi was a bit too oily to eat at once because my stomach complained. Apart from the fact that pork belly + sausages + fried egg combination was too oily, their baguette and pickle veggies are nice. Friendly server and quick service!

I recently visited Whip X Banh Mi and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the OB Matcha Latte, which was exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. The café offers a wide selection of beverages and sandwiches, all within a cozy and inviting atmosphere—ideal for a casual chat with a friend or a relaxed solo visit. The space is clean, the staff is courteous, and the customer service is excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this spot and would confidently rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

I came across an ad on Facebook and decided to stop by to grab a couple of to-go Vietnamese sandwiches for dinner. I ordered the Pork Belly and Grilled Chicken sandwiches, requesting all the veggies on the side. After heating them up for dinner, I stuffed the veggies into the baguettes, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. The sandwich had a perfectly crispy exterior with a soft, fluffy interior. The melted butter inside added a rich, savory flavor. While the price is a bit on the higher side, the sandwiches are huge--I could only finish half and saved the rest for later. Their service was quick and friendly. The store itself is charming and clean, with plenty of parking available.
